Chapter 4 - Promise Me?

I didn't realize how much I had to drink, but I was drunk alright. I kept stumbling every few minutes and everything was a blur. I just wanted to find Ian and be with him. I continued to walk when I saw Tyler making out with Crystal and Ian walking towards them. I made my way over to Ian and next thing I know, he grabs my face and attaches his lips to mine. We didn't kiss for that long but I have to say, that was one of the best kisses ever. When we pulled apart, we just stared at each other in shock. I was face to face with Tyler.

"OH MY GOD! What the hell Tyler? What's wrong with you?" I yelled.

"Me?! What about you? You didn't stop me!"

"How is this my fault? I was just looking for Ian and I thought you were him so I went up to you to talk and next thing I know, you plant your lips to mine!"

"Because I thought you were Crystal!"

I can't believe I let this happen. I told Ian that I wouldn't let Tyler do anything with me and yet, here we are. I'm a horrible girlfriend.

"We have to tell Ian." Tyler said.

"No! If he finds out we kissed, he's gonna pummel you to death and probably break up with me. While you were changing he didn't like the fact that I invited you to the party and I told him I wouldn't let you do a anything. If I tell him we kissed he's gonna think I lied and broke my promise and he'll never forgive me! You have to promise me you won't tell him anything!" I said.

Tyler stood there for a while but eventually agreed. I gave him a hug thanking him for keeping our secret safe. Just then, Ian and Crystal were walking towards us, so we broke apart.

"Hey. Where's Brooke?" I asked.

"Oh, she wasn't feeling well so Moose drove her home." Crystal said.

"So what have you guys been doing?" Ian asked.

"Oh we've just been talking about sports and....other stuff." I hesitated.

They both looked at me weird but the they shrugged it off. I looked at Tyler and he was being nonchalant about it, thank god. Crystal went over to Tyler and they walked away, leaving me and Ian alone together.

"So Tyler's not a bad guy at all. You were right in inviting him to this party. I've definitely gotten to know him better and he's a cool guy. I shouldn't have doubted you." He said.

"Oh! Don't worry about it!" I said awkwardly.

We spent the rest of the night dancing, talking and making out. Ian drove back to my dorm after the party since the rest of us were way too drunk. Thank god Ian controlled himself tonight. We dropped off Tyler and Crystal by her dorm and then we headed to mine. Once we were inside my dorm room, Ian helped me get ready for bed. After I was changed and everything he placed me in my bed, pulling the covers over my body.

He was about to leave until I said, "No, Ian stay with me." And by stay with me, I meant sleep in my bed with me. He came back to me and got into my bed, wrapping his body behind me. God I loved him. And then I started thinking about the kiss again. I wanted to tell him but I couldn't. Besides, what could I even say? 'Hey by the way I was drunk kissed by Tyler while I was drunk and I didn't stop him 'cause it felt nice?' I obviously couldn't tell him. I stopped thinking about it less and less and slowly started to fall asleep until I passed out.
