Chapter 16 - It Begins Again

--Megan--
I opened my door with a huge grin on my face after spending time with Tyler. He wasn't my boyfriend but he was definitely more than a friend.

When I entered the room, I saw a tall, broad, muscular body standing before me, his back to my face. When I slammed the door shut, he turned around and I couldn't believe who was facing me right now.

"Ian???"

"Hey Megan...sorry for barging in like this but I wanted to talk to you." He said

"What?" I asked

"After what happened with Tyler, I didn't know if I was ever gonna forgive you. My original plan was just to ignore you to be honest, but then when I saw you in the parking lot, the sad and angry expression on your face, I started to feel guilty."

"How could you possibly feel guilty? You're not the one who cheated. I kissed another guy while dating you, admitting to my feelings for him. You didn't deserve that."

"No, I didn't. But just because you screwed up, doesn't mean I'm gonna screw up too."

"Ian, what are you saying?"

"I'm saying I don't wanna break up with you. I-if that's ok with you." He said with a cute but awkward smile on his face

I didn't know what to do. In the heat of things with Tyler, I had completely forgotten what happened with Ian, but if I told Ian what I've been doing, he'd definitely break up with me and hate me forever.

The only thing I could think to do was walk up to him and wrap my arms around his body, feeling his warm embrace. I pressed my face into his chest, intaking every piece of him. I missed this; I missed him.

"I love you Megan."

"I love you too Ian."

Suddenly, I felt my phone vibrating in my pocket and I let go of Ian to see who texted me.

Tyler:

Hey cutie! What do you say to meeting up with me and having a little late night hangout?

Me:

Um...we need to talk. Meet me at the track in 10.

I had to end things with Tyler. Despite everything we've been through, I had stronger feelings for Ian; I liked Tyler, but I loved Ian. I had to tell him how I felt.

As I was walking towards the track, I saw Tyler standing there, waiting impatiently. He looked nervous. When I approached him, he immediately smiled and pulled me into a warm embrace. I pushed back before I could let it linger on.

"Is something wrong?" He said

"Tyler....Ian and I made up. He realized I was worth too much to lose. He loves me and I love him." I said

He just laughed as a smile opened up on his face. He then came right in, and kissed me on the lips, hands on either side of my cheeks.

I couldn't help myself; I wanted him, so I kissed him back.

When we pulled apart, his blue eyes were staring into my dark brown eyes. I was trapped under his spell.

"You were saying?" He said

"I-I uh, um, I wanted t-to..." I stuttered

I can't end things, I thought

Instead of saying something, I just grabbed his waist, pulled it to me and started kissing him again. I wanted to; I needed to.
