Chapter 14 - Are You Kidding Me?

After the kiss, I immediately rushed over to my dorm, calling Crystal along the way. I had to tell her what happened 'cause if I didn't, I'd definitely blurt it out at Ian one day. When I unlocked my door, I dropped all my stuff and suddenly heard a knock on the door, hoping it was Crystal. When I looked through the peephole, I felt relieved to see my best friend standing there.

"Hey! Come in! Now!" I urged

"Woah! I got your call, what's up?"

"Look I don't know how to say this and I don't know how you'll feel when I tell you bu--"

"--Are you gonna tell me or what?"

"I kissed Tyler...again." I said ashamed

"What?!" Was all she managed to say

"Yeah! The day you left when he came up to me, he brought me to the track and told me he had feelings for me and asked me to kiss him and I did 'cause he said he'd back off if I felt nothing but I did."

"Omg did you tell him?"

"No, I said I felt nothing because of Ian. Just because I felt something with Tyler, doesn't mean I'm gonna forget about my boyfriend!"

"So you 'ended things' with him then?" She asked

"Well....n-not exactly....See what happened was I accidentally bumped into him at the end of my marketing seminar and I had been avoiding him so he stopped me in my tracks. He kept pushing and pushing as to why I was avoiding him and was pissed and shit so I pulled him into an empty classroom to talk, but I ended up just kissing him....." I told her

She just looked at me in awe. She was surprised, I could tell.

"Well you've just been a slut lately haven't you?" She said jokingly

"What?"

"First, you sleep with ian, now you're going around kissing another guy!" She said as she laughed

"It's not funny! I don't know what to do! I mean, yeah I have feelings for Tyler but I regret kissing him in the empty classroom. Before I kissed him, it was easy to tell Ian. I could've just told him that I only kissed Ian to prove I had no feelings for him so he could leave me alone, but now that I voluntarily kissed him and told him that's how I feel about him, it makes it harder to tell Ian! What do I do Crystal?"

"Honestly, I say you should tell Ian. Yeah, he'll be mad, but if you tell him right after it happened, he'll be happy that you were honest and didn't wait to say anything. Plus, if he finds out from someone else, it makes the situation worse. At the end of the day, it's your decision, but you asked for my advice and this is what I think you should do." She said

I immediately took out my phone and pressed it to my ear as I dialed the number. The phone rang a few times and finally, someone picked up.

"Hello?" He answered

"Hey, can we talk?"

I stood at the track, waiting patiently for him to show up. Tyler was right though, this was a nice, quiet, private place to talk. Especially when you had something on your mind that you needed to let out.

Just when I was about to call him, I saw him walking towards me. The minute our eyes locked, he grew a huge, but cute, smile on his face and started lightly jogging towards me, opening his arms for a hug. I opened mine and let him in when he got to me, feeling the warmth of his body in the cool, fall air. His smell just made me melt; he always smelled nice really, but I just particularly loved it today. When we parted, we just stared at each other for a moment before he opened his mouth to speak.
