--Megan--
Unbelievable. It was already 10:15 pm and I had been waiting for Tyler since 9, when he said he'd be here. I didn't even want to be here but Tyler practically begged me to meet him so we could talk. There wasn't even anything to talk about, clearly we were done with whatever was going in between us and we both moved on; it was a mutual thing and I was happy with that because Ian and I were doing so well and I didn't need anything ruining that. Him and Crystal seemed to be going strong too so I don't know why he would jeopardize that to talk to me considering we're enemies now.
I gave up once it was 10:30. He clearly wasn't coming. He either forgot, was busy, or set me up this entire time. I really didn't care which one it was at this point to be honest because I was done with him and didn't need any distractions from my busy life. Between baseball, school, and Ian, I had no time to fool around with Tyler. Guess I was just gonna have to text him the only thing I had to say to him.
To: Tyler Mead
Hey, thanks for showing up...I waited almost 2 hours. Anyways, I just wanna say that I'm done with whatever we are. I don't need you screwing up my life and I just don't wanna talk to you anymore.Once I sent the text, I got up from the chair I was sitting in and left the lounge, heading back to my dorm room. All of a sudden, two hands gripped my arms quite firmly and when I looked up to see who was touching me, I wasn't shocked at the fact that it was Tyler. I shook his arms off of me and pushed past him, not wanting to say anything at all.
"Megan wait!" he called out.
"Did you get my text?" I said drily as I turned around to face him.
"Yeah, I just got it...Listen, I wanted to explain myself. I was with Crystak and--"
"--Save it! Whatever you have to say, I don't wanna hear because I wasted so much time with you especially today. I never wanted to talk in the first place but I knew you wouldn't leave me alone so I said yes in hopes that after we talked, we'd be done with each other." I said furiously.
And with that I began to walk away again.
"I broke up with Crystal!" he called out.
That had me stop. I cannot believe he broke up with his original dream girl or whatever she was to him. They were doing really well. Was he only with her to make me jealous?
"You what?" I asked in shock.
"That's what I was doing before I got here. I set up a cute little date so that she'd be in a good mood and slowly broke it down for her. After she was done making me a human punching bag, she just slapped me in tears and left. I broke up with her because of you. I never should have asked her out in the first place because I never stopped loving you. You're the one I wanna be with Megan."
"Tyler look. This is all sweet and stuff and I'm glad you ended things with Crystal since you never loved her but this doesn't change how I feel about Ian. We've known each other for a while and we both have strong feelings for each other. I love him and he loves me and that's the way it's gonna stay. Like I said before, I don't need you screwing up my life." I said.
I left him standing there in shock as I walked away. It had to be done. I actually felt really good knowing we were done. No more sneaking around, no more telling lies, and no more post-poning dates. One problem remained; telling Ian. I had to tell him because if I never did and he found out, he would never forgive me and yes he would be mad bur at least he'd know I decided to tell him on my own. So I decided to texthim.
Once I arrived at my dorm room, I plopped down on my bed, lying on my stomach and pulled my phone out to text Ian.
To: Ian
Hey Ian, I have something really important to tell you. Stop by my dorm room?
