--Tyler--

I woke up to the sound of Megan's voice, calling my name. I didn't wanna wake up and open my eyes, it felt too early, but I couldn't help it. Everything she did made me want her.

"Tyler! Wake up!" She called.

"Babe....." I mumbled as I tried to resist the urge to open my eyes.

All of a sudden, Megan pressed her lips to mine, leaving her hand on my chest as she caressed it. My eyes shot wide open and I shot up from the bed, now sitting.

"I'm up!" I said with a smirk on my face.

I grabbed her face as I held her head in my hands, and planted a kiss on her lips. Even when we pulled apart, we just sat there for a bit, staring at each other, enjoying the other's company.

I held her hand as our fingers interlocked and intwined.

I knew she was still with Ian and had feelings for him and this 'thing' was wrong, but I didn't care. Megan was different from other girls and I wanted her just as much as Ian did; maybe more.

"So when are you breaking up with Ian?" I idiotically blurted out.

The minute I realized what I had said, I covered my mouth with my free hand. Megan could see the guilty look on my face and knew I didn't mean it.

"Look Tyler, I like you, I really do but I still love Ian and I'm not ready to end things with him. We've bern through so much and to just end it like that would not only break his heart, but mine as well."

"Babe, I-I'm sorry, you know I didn't mean it."

"I know but I still felt the need to tell you how I feel because even if you don't say anything, you think about it."

I smiled shyly as I ducked my head in embarrassment. It's true. I do think about it. I couldn't help but laugh at how well she knew me.

"As much as I love laying in bed with you, I gotta go, I have a lecture in 2 hours and I have a lot to do until then." Megan said.

I sighed and pouted my face slightly at the thought of her leaving but once she kissed me one last time, all was well.

A few hours later, Megan had texted me once she was done her lecture and asked if I wanted to hang out.

Finally! Now's my chance. I thought.

We had agreed to meet at the Eaton Centre at the urban eatery.

I was waiting for her by the sushi place, where I said I'd be, and soon noticed her approaching me.

"Hey!" She said with a perky smile on her face.

"Hi babe. I ordered our food already, I'm just waiting for it to be ready. I hope that's okay with you." I said in an awkward and shy way.

"Yeah that's fine! What'd you order?"

"Spicy California rolls and fried squid with spring rolls, wasabi and soy sauce on the side."

"My favourite!" She squeled.

"Actually?"

"Yeah! I mean I love sushi in general but that's my favourite dish!"

After we finished our food, we decided to just walk around the mall for a bit, maybe buy a few clothes here and there.

20 minutes had gone by and I still hadn't asked her.

I looked at my phone and the time read 4:33 pm. If Ididn't ask now, I wouldn't get the chance again for a while because I had finally decided to take life more seriously and attend classes, do assignments and get a job too. Sadly, me slacking so much in school put me behind and I had a lot to do before I would be caught up. Add my hours of work on top of that and you've got a busy life.
