Chapter 31
The ride to the signing was almost silent for the first hour, just the small noises of Niall's lips against my cheek and Harry messing with all of us, trying to tickle Lou and I. I'm really going to miss him, all of them. They are my four best friends and the love of my life.
"So how many fans are gonna be at the signing?" asks Zayn with a nervous look on his face. I think it's so cute that he still gets nervous around big crowds of fans. They all do, especially Zayn and Niall.
"Ummm, about three hundred. Its a good number so it wont be too crazy and that was the limit Paul put on the security sheet when we planned it." I answer. Paul and I put this signing together, we've really bonded since we met during their summer tour.
"Oh, ok. Thanks." Zayn sighs. I look at each one of them, their eyes empty, each expressing hurt on their faces, just like mine. I guess they're gonna miss me too. Harry is on his phone though, smiling at the screen, probably texting Teigan. 'Bad student. Shes supposed to be taking notes for me' I think to myself. I half smile a bit. They said their goodbyes last night, that was heart breaking to see. My girl best friends with tears in her eyes, having to say goodbye to Harry. At least we can get through this together.
"I love you..." Niall whispers into my ear, bringing me back to reality.
"I love you too." I breath out as I look up at Niall and kiss the corner of his mouth, teasing him. A smile spreads across his face as he leans in to kiss me. His lips reach mine and he quickly deepens it. Harry clears his throat and I let go, too quickly for Niall's liking.
"Come on Hazza! They really don't have much time left together..." says Liam. I shoot him a quick 'thank you' smile and close the space between Niall and I. Niall quickly deepens the kiss and moves his hands to my waist, tightening his grip on me. His touch gives me goosebumps and chill goes down my spine. I grab hold of his shirt and pull him closer to me, deepening the kiss as well. I slowly let go, brushing my lips against his. Both of our breathing are long and slow, trying to catch our breath.
"You cheeky little boy." gasps Louis with a wide grin on his face. I was still holding on to Niall's shirt and I quickly let go, sending his back to hit the back of his seat. We both giggle and I look at Louis. I go over and sit between him and Zayn and lay my legs across his lap. I hug him tightly and burry my head into his shoulder. He squeezes me for a couple seconds and then loosens his grip, still keeping his arms around me.
"I'm really gonna miss you." I mumble into his shoulder.
"I'm gonna miss you too babe." is his response. I look over at Niall and he's giving me a sad face, his bottom lip protruding. I get up and lay back across Niall. He gives me a satisfied looking smile and kisses my forehead. I put my hand on the side of his neck and lay my head on his chest, feeling it rise and fall as he breaths. I feel my eyes slowly close as I listen to Niall's heartbeat.....and fall asleep.
"Babe, we're here." I hear Niall voice say as I feel the car stop. My eyes flutter open as I notice that Niall and I are the only ones left on the car. I slide off of Niall's lap and step out of the car. The screams start as Niall and I walk to the store where the signing is taking place. Niall takes my hand as we walk into the store and greet the owner. We take our seats at the table, Liam, Zayn, Louis, Harry, Niall, and me on the end. They open the doors and a flood of girls rush into the store to get in line to meet the boys, their boys. They were all holding albums, books, posters,etc., it was actually quite cute. As they start shuffling past the table, the guys were signing papers, taking pictures, and giving hugs.
"Omg! I love you so much!" was the one thing I heard over and over again. After every time someone would compliment Niall and I he would squeeze my leg, making me jump. I got quite a few requests for pictures and hugs, and I am more than happy to do so. After the first hour and a half, the boys were getting tired so we took a quick break. Niall of course was getting hungry, they all were. I see a subway across the street and get them lunch. When I come back, I was bombarded by fans and almost couldn't get through. I finally did and when I walk in, they were all laughing.
"What's so funny?" I ask as I put there bag is sandwichs on the table.
"You,...getting...attacked...by fans..." Niall said between each fit of laughter. They all start laughing harder and I couldn't help but smile. After a few minutes of calming down, they finally have their composure an start to eat lunch.
"Didn't you get a sandwich babe?" Niall asks with his mouth full of food. I giggle a little.
"No, I'm not that hungry for a whole sandwich." I say. He gestures his sandwich to me and I take a small bite. That's probably all my stomach can take because it's all tied up with nervousness. I really don't want to know what's gonna happen in six hours.....that's all I had my mind on, until the screams of fan girls bring me back up from my thoughts...
