Part 36
"You want y/n to what?!?" My mom asks Niall. We are all sitting in my living room, the knots are back in my stomach and I really don't know how this is going to end.
"I want y/n to come with me and the lads to London and live with us." He says, trying not to sound nervous like before, my mother looks very intimidating at the moment.
"You realize that she is only sixteen, she needs a guardian over there and what about school?" My mom asks. She doesn't sound mad, to my surprise, just worried and actually, a little curious.
"That's where I come in..." Louis chimes in.
"I will take place as her 'guardian' over there, since I am the oldest and most protective of her, besides Niall of course, but if you aren't comfortable with me, Paul has also volunteered to be her 'guardian'." Louis adds. My mom has met Paul so hopefully that might help.
"And for school, y/n can either finish up her courses online or she can go to the college in London before going to Oxford. We also want to chip in with y/n's tuition. We will cover her costs in London and pay part of her Oxford costs." Harry says, giving my mom one of his 'you can't say no to us' smiles. My mom smiles back at Harry then turns to Niall with a serious look on her face.
She studies him, with Niall looking like he's a lost puppy, poor babe. She then looks at the ground as if she's thinking something over. 'Oh great, she's gonna say no. I can just see it on her face.' I think to myself. What if she does say no?
I can't do this again. She saw how hurt I was the first time.... I get brought back to reality from my thoughts to my moms voice.
"Niall, I know how much you love her and I can see it in your eyes that you would do anything for my daughter...." She starts then pauses. Oh God! Here comes the 'but she can't go'.
I love Niall, we are freakin' ENGAGED! We can do this, I can do this....
"and that is why I'm letting her go." she finishes.
Niall jumps up and hugs my mom tightly while I'm still sitting in shock. Not in a million years would I have ever thought she would let me go, let alone move in with my fiancé across the Atlantic Ocean since we aren't even married yet.
"Thank you so much Mrs. Y/ln! How can I ever thank you?" He asks, still hugging her.
"By making me three promises..." She says and Niall lets go from the hug.
"Anything..." He says, and gives me a look and winks. I return him with a smile and we all focus back on my mom.
"First, you can't get in the way of her studies. Y/n has worked too hard to get here and I don't want her dreams getting ruined. Second, please protect her. There are a lot of bad people out there who are very jealous of her so just be careful. And lastly, make sure she comes and visits every once in awhile. I'm going to miss the both of you and I am very glad that you are my daughters 'one'." She says.
Niall is tearing up a bit and so am I. As for the rest of the guys, they're all full out crying of happiness. It amuses me a bit and I smile. I finally go up to my mom, hug her, and thank her. I am so happy beyond description.
*one week later*
"You ready to go babe?" Niall asks as he snakes his arm around my waist.
"All set." I say. I'm so excited to be moving in with Niall. It's been a week since my mom said yes and I'm so glad she hasn't changed her mind. The guys left the next morning (not without seeing Teigan first, Harry would've gone mad) and Niall stayed behind to help me pack and to get everything ready. He basically just just threw my closet into a few suitcases and I did all the hard work and school stuff. 'Such a great help.' I think sarcastically. We grab my suitcases and head out to the car. Niall opens my door and I slide in, him coming in after me.
"To the airport my good man." Niall says, attempting a British accent. I just laugh because his Irish accent is so thick. He smiles at me and wraps his arm around my shoulders as the driver drives off. I snuggle up to him and lay my legs across his lap. I look out the car windows and say goodbye. Goodbye hot weather, goodbye Clearwater Beach, goodbye school, bye friends.
"I'm so excited for you to see the apartment. You're gonna love it." Niall says, ending my thoughts.
"I'm mostly excited just be moving in with you." I say smiling. Niall leans towards me and kisses me. It lasts awhile until we hear the driver.
"We're here. You guys are actually gonna leave this time right?" The driver asks.
"Yes." Niall and I laugh in unison. This time, I'm going too.
