so I once again don't have a good reason on not updating lol. idk how long it's been but I'm here & have a few ideas / starts in my drafts.

has anyone listened to k-12 or seen the film ?? dude Melanie makes me so gay you don't understand

& the pregnancy announcement ?? I SOBBED

it's been eventful and I'm not necessary saying it's a bad thing.

this was also requested by (when I asked for ideas) bleedmagic a loooong time ago so this one's for you my twinky Mikey boy

Josh has worked at Calico's, a cat cafe, for about 7 months now. He was originally looking for a place to get coffee that was anything other than Starbucks, and came across the coffe shop. Once he tasted the coffee and orange scone, he was in love with the place; when he saw the 'Help Wanted' sign, he knew it was fate.

His job was very simple. Take peoples orders, serve the delicious items, and watch the cats until someone else comes in for their shift. He usually watches the customers play with the cats, to make sure their isn't any harm towards the soft animals. He doesn't have to remind them often, but it's just protocol. He does have to remind them to be quiet though.

Josh loves his job. He loves the cats and the 30% discount that came with the job. He loves his co-workers and boss. He loves the regular customers that come in.

His favorite regular is a boy named Tyler. He's just this guy who's about the same age as Josh and ridiculously dorky. He has a little bit more height than Josh and was really funny. Josh enjoyed his company, even if it was only for the 5 minutes.

He came in around the same time (9:40AM-ish), ordered the same thing (a medium iced cold brew coffee with cream and sugar, and a chocolate muffin), and held a conversation with Josh until his order was ready.

So, when he came in at 9:43AM, Josh was not surprised. "Hi Tyler! You want your usual?" Tyler smiled and nodded in return. He seemed a little off. Definitely quieter and way less quirky. He did something different today though, he went into the cat area.

Usually he only gets coffee and a muffin, but this time he sits in the kitten pen and pets the small creatures. Josh ponders on why the change while he's making his order. Once completed, he knocks on the door to the cat pen and signals Tyler his food is done. A simple nod is returned.

He stays in there for another 5 minutes until he places down one of the kittens that was on his lap, to a blanket that's on the floor.

He stands up and grabs his food from the employee and sits at an isolated table. That's another thing he never did, eat in the cafe. Josh wasn't necessarily worried. Could you blame him? He barely knows the guy. Just because something's a bit different, doesn't mean it's bad. Right?

Josh started thinking. He observed Tyler from behind the register, looking at his body language. He has sadder eyes today. When Josh couldn't handle the curiosity anymore, he stood up and grabbed a chair to sit with his favorite customer.

"Hey Ty, are you okay?" Josh asked timidly. Tyler looked up at him and gave a sad smile. "I'm getting fired today. I work for a lady who owns a company, and she said if I didn't sleep with her, I'd be fired. Kinda crazy huh?" Josh's jaw dropped. He didn't know what to say. The first thing he said with out thinking was "Was she even hot?" Tyler bursted out laughing. Josh's face and ears flushed pink. "O-Oh my god, I didn't mean to say that" Tyler chuckled a bit more before saying "Maybe to someone who's straight"
Josh blushed a bit more before asking "Are you sad about it?" Tyler's face still had a smile, but it wasn't as genuine as it was seconds before. "Yeah, I'm a bit sad. I worked my up for 3 years and I get fired for not wanting to sleep with my boss.. but wanna know what would make me feel better?" Josh hummed, "If I can possibly take you out for dinner?"

Josh smiled so wide his cheeks hurt. "I'd love too" Tyler mirrored Josh's look.

They exchanged phone numbers so they can arrange the date and can talk further more.

-day of the date-

Josh started getting ready around 3:40ish. The actual date wasn't until 6:30, but he knew if he didn't get ready now, he would be late for some unknown reason.. He rather be safe than sorry. After his hour shower, he was having trouble choosing what to wear, so decided to call his best friend since highschool, Brendon Urie.

When the he was calling the ringing sound was replaced with a voice. "Ha ha,I missed your call and I don't carrreeeee haaaa-"  Josh huffed out air and whispered a mix of swear words with Brendon's name in it. Before he hung up, the sound of laughter came from his phone. "HAHA DUMB BITCH THOUGHT I DIDNT ANSWER HAAAA-" before he can even finish making fun of his best friend Josh interrupted "I fucking hate you with every ounce of my body" A giggle erupted on the other side "No you fucking don't. Anywho why did you summon me?" "Because dimwit, I'm going on a date and don't know what to wear. Please help me?"

After Brendon told Josh what to wear*, he started doing his hair and getting dressed. Once fully clothed, he found that he still had a full hour to do whatever he pleased. Deciding on watching Heather's just because he loves the idea of a possible new boyfriend being a psychotic killer. (a/n teeheehee)

When the clock struck 6:15, he left to go on his date. They decided to meet at the new icecream shop and then later walk to the park to get to know each other.

"Hey Josh!" a shout came from the back of the shop. Eyes met on Tyler yelling and he gave an apologetic smile and whispering a 'sorry'. Josh laughed quietly, poking his tongue out of the side of his mouth subconsciously. "Okay Tyler, you have one chance to impress me and not make me leave this date. Which icecream flavor do you choose?" Tyler faked wiping a sweat bead away, he also fake hyperventilated to show his 'nervousness' as he would describe it. "Oh wow this is alot of pressure.." Josh chuckled, "It sure as hell is.. Choose your fighter"

Tyler stood there for a moment and decided to get Sweet Cream in a cup while Josh got chocolate in a cone. "You got an 80 on the ice cream test. You would have made it a hundred if you got it with a brownie or as a sunday, but because you didn't, so you're sadly below average." Tyler faked cried for a bit, peaked to see if Josh was amused, then continued once he saw Josh was laughing. Their cackling radiated through the shop which made people send an annoyed look or admirable glares.

The talking continued "Wanna go to the park now?" Tyler questioned. "Sure" Josh said and ate a spoonful of Tyler's icecream. Tyler made an evil eye and Josh just smirked in return. "That wasn't very nice of you" "Who said I was nice?" Josh retorted. "C'mon pretty young thang" Josh snorted in return and followed side by side to the park.

"Hey Ty? I had a really good time today." Tyler blushed a bit, "Really? Me too Josh, I'd love to take you out again sometime- that's if you'll let me.." the shorter chuckled. "Of course Ty. I'd love to!"

Tyler slowly leaned over and kiss Josh's cheek. He felt the warmth on the smaller's face on his lips. He gave that award winning smile to the red faced man. "You have my number, let me know when you're available" he said in a raspy voice. "When the fuck did you become so hot?" Josh whispered out. Tyler let out a breathy laugh.

They were both looking forward to their next date.
