Maybe

Diana lifts her light blue manicured hand up towards the bottle. It spins and spins until... it lands on me.

"Truth or dare, Anne?" She asks.

"Dare?" It comes out as more of a question than an answer.

I give her a pleading look, just do a simple dare, please.

"I dare you to take a shot," she replies. Thank god.

Billy hands me a bottle and I take a longer sip than needed, probably. I don't care at this point, the less I remember from this stupid night, the better.

"Anne, be careful," Gilbert says quietly next to me. I roll my eyes and take another drink just to spite him.

Feeling my emotions slightly heighten and surroundings faintly buzz, I welcome the feeling.

I spin the bottle and it lands on Josie.

"Truth or dare?" I smirk.

"Dare," she says proudly.

"I dare you to kiss Billy," I smile mischievously. Her eyes widen. Finally, I get the upper hand for once.

"No way," she finally says.

"Come on, just do it!" Charlie shouts, and suddenly everyone is chanting do it, do it, do it.

If looks could kill, I'd be dead. Nevertheless, she pecks Billy on the cheek.

"Lame!" Diana shouts and Josie rolls her eyes.

Billy is blushing and I can't help but think they're the perfect match, even though I hate both of them.

"I did the dare, did I not? Now, it's my turn," she says.

The bottle lands on Jane. She ends up telling the story of her first hook up— which I could care less about.

The vodka bottle manages to make its way to me again and I take a few more drinks. Eventually I start zoning out from the pointless game and focus on random details around the room.

Such as, Josie and Billy giving each other bedroom eyes.

Tillie is cross faded and on the brink of passing out.

Diana keeps glancing at Charlie.

Gilbert... is looking at me.

"You okay?" He mouths.

"Yeah!" I say, giggling when I realize I spoke out loud. Oops.

Everyone else ignores it and they continue playing the game.

"Ruby, truth or dare?" Billy asks. I decide to pay attention now.

"Truth," she says.

"Where's the weirdest place you and Gilbert have had sex?" Billy smirks and multiple 'ooh's echo around the room.

Meanwhile, I feel like dying.

"The— uh, playground," Ruby blushes, and the nice buzz I felt earlier just turned into a head ache.

"Atta boy, G!" Moody shouts. More cheers are made but I can't make out their words. Everything is spinning. I need to go.

I stand up too quickly and stumble into the couch.

"Anne? Are you—"

"Good, 'm good. Need air," I say, interrupting Diana.

I somehow manage to stand up without passing out, and leave.

I shove past strangers, searching for somewhere to escape this claustrophobic mess. A staircase appears once a blonde steps to the side and I head towards it.
