~ Next Day: Night~
Yukiya had helped Tsunami prepare the food again, with her same distinct apron tied around her neck. She was starting to become more confident with not wearing her mask (doesn't mean she didn't give Kakashi a cold glare). Kakashi, Akira and Sakura were sitting at the table, talking. Akira was talking to Sakura about Kiba, and how she obviously has a crush on the guy. Akira looked amused as the pink haired female stuttered as she teased. Yukiya was talking Tsunami, stirring another pot.

Naruto and Sasuke almost entered in sync, a proud (smug in Sasuke's case) smile painted across their expressions. Naruto had his arm around Sasuke's shoulder, limping slightly. They looked dirty and disoriented.
"Oh, you guys are finally back." (duh, no shit Sherlock). Tazuna noted, staring at their dirty forms from his plate. "What's this? You guys look super dirty and worn out."

"Naruto! Sasuke! What the hell?" Yukiya was in motherly mode and it was terrifying, with her hands on her hips with an expression between warmth and anger. Akira started eating with a smirk. At least she wasn't the one about to be scolded. Sasuke was surprised she hadn't called him by his "nickname".

"Heh...both of us made it to the top, " Naruto tried to be careful with his words, and grunted. as he saw a terrifying aura around Yukiya. Full mother mode.

Sasuke's lip twitched in annoyance, yet there was definitely pride behind his spheres. Yukiya started, and smiled to the surprise of everyone, "Well done, both of you. You're going to get far, I can just tell."
Akira ruined the moment with a high pitched snort. "Ya should 've seen ya faces! Ya thought she was gonna scold yas! Haha!" Naruto pouted, huffing slightly. It was replaced immediately with a smile. Sasuke scoffed. He wouldn't admit he was a bit scared.

Sakura giggled. "You would be a terrifying wife, Yuki. Whilst Akira would be rather laid back."
Akira and Yukiya both laughed. Yukiya smiled, feeling the scars on her lips move. "Yeah I can see it!" Yukiya winked at Akira. "Who would you marry, Akira?~"
Akira burst fifty shades of red, and groaned, looking away. All they could hear, which was quiet and nearly inaudible, "Shut up...Yuki."
Kakashi's uncovered eye shifted slightly, chuckling a bit into his hand. "Don't tease your teammates, Yuki. All right! Naruto, Sasuke...starting tomorrow...you two will also help protect Tazuna-San."
"Okay!" Naruto cheered, and Sasuke smiled (which Akira found adorable. It reminded her of how he used to smile so often. A sad, but pleasant memory).

"Hehe, I'm also worn out from today's bridge work. At any rate, the bridge is almost complete." Tazuna managed to smile.
Tsunami entered with another dish of spicy mapo tofu. The gentle woman managed a smile. Her tone was gentle, but strict. "Naruto, Father, please don't overdo it, okay?"
Naruto flopped like an over dramatic fish next to Kakashi at the table. "Ugh..."

~ Next Day: Morning ~
Yukiya and Akira exchanged looks as they left the sleeping Naruto to his slumber to join Kakashi, Tazuna and the rest of the team (except Naruto since he was asleep and needed it.) With a few goodbyes to Tsunami, they left. Naruto would probably be upset he was left behind. The walk was rather pleasant on the way to the bridge...but something felt odd.

When Kakashi came to a stop, shaking slightly, they knew something was wrong...incredibly wrong.
"What's this?" Tazuna almost shouted in shock. Five bodies layed across the scaffolding. They looked so dead...blood dripped from their lips, or wounds almost invisible to the eye. Tazuna dashed over to one of his workers, lifting his head to meet his eyes. Blood dripped from his lips in crimson drops. "What happened?

"A-A monster..." He groaned, life absent almost in his spheres.

A thick mist began to circulate around them all. "Here they come!" The team got into a fighting stance: Akira unsheathed her sword, whilst Kakashi scanned through the mist for any signs of life. Sasuke began to tremble...not from terror but excitement.
"Kakashi-sensei, this is...his Hidden Mist no Justu, right?!" The pink haired female asked.
