{I'm bloody sorry for not updating this! I've missed doing so, but...I'm an idiot who had no inspiration. Sorry if characters are OC. Enjoy!}

Naruto and Akira decided to train together for the upcoming exam/fight. Yet, they needed someone to train with...someone strong, someone with experience...

Kakashi wouldn't train them because he was training with Sasuke. Bloody bitch- Naruto was rather annoyed by this, whilst Akira remained neutral, but wasn't too pleased by it, or having to find someone else to train with. They had been stalking the streets for the past five hours.

"Hey, what about we fight?" Naruto smiled at Akira, who was unsure whether she wanted to really fight Naruto. She had beaten him every time, and yet, he remained confident he could beat her someday. It...had not quite come true yet.

She placed her hands in her pockets, sighing softly. Her eyes trailed over the boy that was shorter than her, taking in each detail, each emotion he expressed. He was now in a fighting position, ready to start. "Eh, I guess...but ya know we have ta find someone to train us? And then we can see Yuki."
He smiled in agreement. "I won't be beaten!" Naruto ran forward with a kunai in hand, swiping at the ninja who easily dodged him. He ended up falling forward behind Akira, so she took this to her advantage and ended up kicking him deliberately in the back, so he fell forward onto his face.
"You alright?"
"Yep..." he got up, dusting himself off and going for the same approach, yet he had summoned some Shadow Clones whilst he was out of eyeshot. She ended up punching one of his various clones that were hiding elsewhere and was thrown back by another attacking and deflecting her attacks. She smiled slightly. He had definitely grown and was becoming stronger by the minute. This continued for a while until Akira could not be bothered any longer and she slammed down her hand at the back of his neck, which knocked him out straight away. He collapsed to the floor rather dramatically as she merely watched his unconscious body, waiting for him to wake up.

"...looks like he was beaten again."

Yukiya was calmly reading in her hospital bed, whilst Sasuke was sitting on the seat beside her, reading his own dramatic novel involving revenge and murder. You know, Sasuke's favorite genre.
"What are you reading?"
"This, " he showed her the book's blurb, barely allowing her any time to properly read it. The front cover had a tall youth, brandishing a sword, as blood stained his clothes.

She gave him a death stare before he started to read it again. He merely smirked as her stare lingered for a while. She was tempted to yeet the book out the window due to how annoying he was being in this current moment. They, with no dialect between them, but looks of agreement, they had decided to begin reading together as a declaration of their friendship. It was weird but it seemed to work. Yukiya was reading about some chosen heroes in charge of searching for the Light orbs to regain the earth's balance. (A/N: A story idea I had started but didn't do much of. Might write it though.)

"Gaara has been trying to visit you by the way, " Sasuke spoke softly, turning the page. He was halfway through the book since he had been reading it in the middle of the night until it was stolen by the staff since he needed sleep/rest. He had to secretly snook it back.
"Oh. I see."
"Have you really spoken to him much since...Valentine's?" He looked at her from the corner of his eye.
"I guess it's still healing, really. We spoke, of course, but things are still a tad difficult still. I think his siblings just stand outside the door and make sure he doesn't get in somehow."
"Hn."

"I feel conflicted. I don't know what to do. I don't know how to help...don't know how to fix it."
"It takes time to heal. You have to heal yourself, first of all. He will take time to fight his own demons, or beast. Some take longer than others, but, it's an attempt of healing. Being able to improve each doubt or thing you loathe which is apart of you- it is human to have flaws, and want to improve self-image."
"Hey, thanks. You're a good therapist..."
"I know."

They smiled at their rekindled friendship.

Akira had dragged Naruto where she could sense (or smell, in this case), a strong person who could possibly train them. She swore she heard Kakashi say "Jiraiya" earlier, but she had only just remembered that name...why did it seem familiar somehow? Had her father spoken of such an individual beforehand? No...it can't be...right? Not that Jiraiya! Maybe? No? Yes?

They were at a hot spring; this is where she had got the scent. Jiraiya smelt like lemons (;0), cinnamon and peppers. A very, very strange combination. A single thought ran through Akira's mind: why the feck was he at the hot spring? Oh...Oh. He was a pervert! That makes more sense...why the fuck was there a massive toad?! Akira looked up at a massive toad that had someone on top of it, sitting there securely. Naruto looked up as well.
"Are you Jiraiya?" Akira shouted up at the figure with her hands in her pockets. The figure jumped down in front of them and inched a bit too close to Akira. He creepily looked at each aspect of her figure, almost drooling. Since he was an extreme pervert, and Akira had an hourglass figure. Naruto stood protectively in front of her with a pissed-off expression. Akira wasn't too pleased by the perv's look; she was tempted to punch a bitch.

"Don't look at my friend like that!"
Jiraiya gave him an annoyed look. "Who are you brats anyway?"
Naruto puffed out his chest almost. "I'm Naruto Uzumaki! Bet you've heard of me!"
"...Uh, no."

...

"The name's Akira."
"...wait, Akira...Naruto...I swear I know you two from somewhere...!" He rubbed the back of his neck. "I swear I know you two..."
"Could you train us?!"
"Leave me alone, I'm busy currently."

"Perving on people?"
"You wouldn't understand...leave me the hell alone." He attempted to get away from them, but they just followed him, wanting at least someone to train them. They wouldn't give in until he did. They stalked him for several hours until he finally gave in.
