"Brother dearest, who thought it would be a good idea to let Zabuza buy ingredients?" The big arse Zabuza, who was definitely going though a mid life crisis, had his massive sword on his back, leaning over to look at the ingredients on the numerous stalls. Haku and Yukiya were holding a couple of bags of ingredients and they were watching Zabuza to make sure he didn't frighten (well, he had already done that already) and break the stalls due to having yet another tantrum because no one likes his burnt abominations.
Haku, trying his best to not diss his ex-master, gave a strained smile as a giggle erupted from his throat. "Me. Probably wasn't a good idea but it makes him happy, so I'm happy."
Yukiya smiled, scratching softly at one of the various scars on her cheek. "It is cute you think like that. But, Zabu sounds like your housewife."
Haku pouted, and he started to squish her cheeks together in mock annoyance. "Hush you. Akira told me about an interesting individual you seem fond of."
With her cheeks squished together (making her look absolutely hilarious) her words were mumbled, as her cheeks began to burn.Zabuza appeared a few moments later, holding a 56 inch (1.5 metre) Salmon. The pair gawked at him like he had just digested an elephant whole. Zabuza looked rather pleased with himself and he was waiting for the pair to compliment him on his achievements. Yukiya patted Haku's shoulder with a smirk on her face. "Compliment your wife, brother." As she started to speed walk away (she could sense the evil aura from Zabuza), Zabuza held the salmon like a weapon as if he was going to whack Yukiya with it to next week. Haku was trying to stop him whilst laughing at this display.
"WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT, YOU LITTLE SHIT." Yukiya swirled around dramatically, holding out her arms as if she wanted to fight. The bags were on her arms and they were slowly sliding down.
"FIGHT ME BITCH, I WILL GLADLY BEST YOUR ARSE AGAIN." Zabuza yeeted the fish at Haku which caused him to fall over. He lay there, rather content. Zabuza did the exact same thing as Yukiya, arms outstretched as if he wanted to fight."COME AT ME, BRAT. YOU WON'T BEAT ME THIS TIME."
"COME AT ME, BITCH. I HAVE THE POWER OF GOD AND ANIME ON MY SIDE." By the way, a powerful Anbu and an ex-rogue ninja pretending to fight each other and completely taking the fecking mick near the stalls would look weird. It gets even more weird when your sensei watches the entire thing and is most likely to tease you about it. He was watching, book in hand, laughing to himself. He was definitely going to tell his other students about this. They inched toward each other, walking like complete clowns, or waddly penguins. Yukiya nearly flopped to the side, snorted, then carried on towards the tall arse man before her head hit into his stomach. She wrapped her arms around his waist, bags on either side of his hips, and hugged him. He looked down at her, strangely and huffed.
"What are you doing?"
"Hugging you. What do you think I'm doing? You need love~" Zabuza groaned, with a slight blush across his cheeks. He hugged her back, placing his chin on her head.
"God...you're annoying." Yet, he smiled.~ ❤ ~
"So, " Haku started. You could tell he was going to get into brotherly, overprotection mode with the way his gaze seemed alert. Yukiya was cooking Teriyaki (Teriyaki sauce on salmon) salmon for all three of them, wearing her iconic apron. She was currently simmering the white rice needed for the dish. She soon realised she had made too much again...she supposed it could be left overs.
Haku smiled sweetly, but there was definitely something dark beneath it. Zabuza was trying to drink his coffee. He didn't know what Haku was talking about, but he felt like he needed to be protective."Yes, Haku?"
He watched as she placed the Teriyaki salmon on each plate, now attending to the rice. "Akira told me about Gaara of the Desert. Someone you seem to have a crush on."
Yukiya froze, bursting bright red in colour. "Y-Yeah? W-What about him?"
"I invited him over-" The counter broke into fragments, a crater appearing. Zabuza seemed to jump up, throwing his coffee everywhere. Zabuza's reactions were even better, however. He literally threw the table into the air, screeching his head off. All anyone could do is watch as he went a bit overboard. Such as shrieking "NOOOOO" and "NOT THE INNOCENT BRAT!".
Yukiya had a red face. "Why would you do that? Invite him? I'm guessing you told him where we live."
"So i can interrogate him. Yes, Sister. We wouldn't want him getting lost." He softly smiled."HAKU NO."
"HAKU YES." Zabuza called back.
"ZABU YOU AREN'T MY MOTHER."
"SHUT IT YOU LITTLE SHIT."
"WHEN IS HE SUPPOSED TO BE COMING-" The door bell rang, and Yukiya froze. Her face exploded fifty shades of red, and she ended up hiding in the closet based beside the stairs. Haku gave a small smile, whilst Zabuza smirked like he accomplished something. Zabuza was about to go and help with the food until Yukiya literally hissed at him. He backed away, hands up in mock surrender. Zabuza decided to enter the door, whilst Haku helped with the food (he was better than Zabu, but he still wasn't great at the art of cooking.)The tall arse man opened the door, staring down at the rather small, red-haired panda known as Gaara. They had a staring contest for like five minutes before he let him in. God knows where his siblings were...probably flirting with Sasuke again or something. (😉)
Haku got out a fourth plate, placing rice and Teriyaki salmon onto the plate. He placed all four plates onto the table, and gave a soft smile to the shorter male. Zabuza closed the door, sitting beside Haku at the table. He didn't want to admit it, but Gaara felt out of place. He could sense so much love, warmth...
"The brat-" Haku elbowed Zakuza before he could finish his sentence. To get the feminine male back, he kicked him under the table. "Yukiya is currently hiding. She had no idea you were coming-"
"-oh...i suppose I must leave if I'm not welcome." He turned to leave, but he froze when Yukiya spoke. It seemed so gentle, soft even. He ended up turning around to meet her icy spheres. She was playing with the fabric on the hem of her apron, as Haku and Zabuza watched. She had a kind smile, with a vibrant blush. "D-Don't leave, p-please. I-I take a w-while to t-talk to p-people. I-I used to even p-pretend I-I d-didn't have e-emotions. I suppose I never really found point in it when I was called a monster, the fact that...I was scarred. Due...to them...I hate myself so damn much..."A sob erupted from her throat as she started to cry, allowing crystals to drip down her cheeks as she poured her soul out. Haku felt his fists clench...the villagers and their father did this...? Deep down, he knew, but he forgot...he felt selfish, he felt so damn guilty...his sister was suffering.
What no one expected next, was for the panda to embrace Yukiya, bringing her into his chest (he is taller than her.). She felt herself wrap her arms around his waist, crying into his chest. He felt warmth coming to his cheeks, to his chest...he loved this feeling.
"You...aren't a monster...you are beautiful...no matter what they say." His tone was soft. They stayed like this for a while.
They felt safe in the other's embrace.
(A/N:Akira and Sasuke's date is up next!)
