Chapter 2
*Time skip until monday* (oh by the way school had started on a wednesday)
I woke up fifteen minutes before my bus came because I didn’t feel like waking up this morning. Even though I went to bed at eight last night, well I went to bed because me being grounded still didn’t have anything to do. Kassidy was sitting in the seat beside me texting everyone she had hung out with over the weekend, and we were just arriving at school.
I walked in and Kassidy opened up my locker.
“Why don’t you just have someone rig your locker for you?” She asked.
“Well you know... no body will help me.” I answered.
Right then the bell rang and I headed off to advisory. Today was an orange day which meant I had english, gym, science, then algebra. For some reason in advisory class all of the girls sat at one table and all the boys sat on the couches in a corner. It was weird but no one really cared enough to do anything about it.
“So how was your weekend?” My friend Chelsey asked.
“It sucked major balls, I’m still grounded and don’t get off for another week.” I answered trying not to sound rude.
“Oh, well you shouldn’t have been naughty little girl!” She said and we both cracked up laughing. The bell rang and about half of my class headed to english.
We walked in and sat down in our assigned seats. He was making us learn the eight parts of speech, which was pretty boring. Eventually we were dismissed and I headed to my locker.
“OH MY GOSH JACKALIN! I GOTTA TELL YOU SOMETHING!” I heard Kassidy yell down the hall.
“OH MY GOSH WHAT?” I yelled back.
Kassidy came running up to me and showed me a piece of paper saying “This my darling, is my new schedule.” I looked it over and saw that she had gym next.
“So my babe, it looks as if you have a uhm Mr. Robinson for gym....” I began playing with her.
“Who do you have for gym, what day, and when?” She asked me.
“Well, I have gym on my orange days, I have it with the same teacher, AND I HAVE IT NEXT PERIOD.” I said a smile coming across my face.
“OH MY GOD!!!” She screamed and we both started jumping up and down like retards. Thats when Jasey showed up looking rather bored and like she’d rather be anywhere but here. She absolutely hates school just like me.
“What is your guy’s issue?” She asked looking at us. Thats when I noticed we were both still jumping up and down and smiling like retards.
“Well Kassidy just got her schedule changed and she now has a class with me.” I said answered.
“Oh well then thats cool I guess,” Jasey answered.
I nodded my head and we went to my locker. I pushed through the crowd around it and spent the last five minutes of break being taught to open my locker. Finally I got it three times in a row and everyone cheered just like people do when a baby gets taught to walk. I grabbed my bag and headed to gym.
“Okay guys so we have a student who switched over to this class her name is Kassidy, are you here Kassidy?” Mr. Robinson
“Yeah I’m right here.” She answered.
“Okay so what your going to take this lock, go into the locker room, and pick out a locker you want to keep your stuff in. Jackalin could you show her where your locker is?” Mr. Robinson asked me.
“Yeah come on Kass.” I said and headed to the locker room.
She got a locker and we headed back out to give him the number. After that we joined in on the game of floor hockey the class was playing. We played that and then halfway through the class stopped. After we stopped I showed Kassidy to the weight room where I hung out with two seniors named Kyle and Dingus (his real name is Jacob, but we all call him by his last name), a sophomore named Hayley, and two freshman boys Erik and Jared.
“Whats up guys this is my best friend Kassidy, Kassidy this is Dingus and Kyle.” I said pointing them out.
“Hey freshman whats up?” Dingus asked.
“Nothing really I guess, just coming to see what you guys are doing.” Kassidy responded.
Kassidy, Dingus, Kyle, and I spent the whole time talking and laughing at everyone trying to have weight lifting competitions. Eventually J-rob (thats what we call the gym teacher) told us that everyone else had gone to change up and we could go if we wanted. So of course we did. Once we came back out the bell rang which signaled third period, meaning I was headed for lunch.
