Monday morning came around quite fast. I was happy because I would be able to see my friends, and also John. Victoria saw me first so I ended up talking with her.

“Morning Jackalin!”

“Hey Victoria whats up?”

“Oh nothing much I went to my grandparents this weekend and saw my friend Kris. I also got these boots, designed by Twiggy, I don’t know if you know who she is or not, but listen they make a noise when I walk! Now everyone can know when I’m coming!” She looked really happy, and her boots were adorable.

“Thats nice those are actually really cute! And of course I know who Twiggy is silly. Oh em gee guess what happened saturday night.” I told her.

“I have no clue.” She said trying to think.

“John asked me out, this time without pressure! So of course I said yes.” I told her still happy.

“Congrats! I’m happy for you guys.” She paused for a minute thinking and then said “I am actually determined to make you popular, like legit popular.”

“Oh well uhm, actually you don’t need to do that” I told her Shuddering at the thought of being popular again.

“It’s fine. I really want to do this, and you’ll love it. You should start sitting with me at lunch on orange days, and this weekend I’m not going to the dance. My parents decided to show me they still have control over me and said no.” She said.

“Well then guess what, I’m not going either. Its pointless if you can’t go.” I said being honest.

“Really? Then we should hang out and go to the movies or something that night.” She said thinking.

The bell rang and we said our goodbyes. I went to my advisor/first period which today was study hall. I walked up to the librarian and asked if I could go get my headphones. She let me and on my way out I passed Trevin, the cute junior from my government class. I got my headphones and then ran back to class. I sat down at one of the table sides, and Brandon was sitting at the end of the table so we had the corner in between us. Trevin came over and stood at the corner of the table and bent down to talk to me.

“Hey do you know what the homework was that Sim assigned us on wednesday?” He asked, we didn’t have school last thursday because it was veterans day, so that friday turned back to an orange day.

“I don’t think we had that class wednesday.” Brandon answered looking at him.

“Hey dipshit, you don’t even have any classes with him. He was talking to me.” My table started laughing and then I looked at Trevin. “Uhm go to senate.gov or house.gov and find two people you wanna do a keynote on.” I answered.

“Okay thanks. Hey do you have your charger with you?”

“Yep” I said handing it to him. After class he gave it back and then the break bell rang. I went to get breakfast and then met up with Halia, Jasey, and Victoria who decided to join us today. We ate a little and then walked around the halls until the bell rang. I stopped outside the gym and waited for John.  I saw him and gave him a hug and then ran off to my locker. After that I went to my class, which was government. I walked in and saw that Trevin wasn’t sitting in the seat he usually did. I only remembered where he sat because for the past couple weeks he’s been sitting beside me. I looked at the desks we usually sat at and saw someone sitting there. She was sitting in my seat and so I went to sit in Trevin’s right beside her.

“So your in here now Beth?” I asked her.

“Yep just started today.” She answered.

I only knew who she was because she was a mutual friend and sometimes ended up sitting at my lunch table. In that class I learned she was a senior. The whole class I was silent and kind of sad because now I would sit near her and no Trevin. After that class I had lunch and I was supposed to sit with John, or vice-versa depending on who sat down first. I was ahead of him in line but finally saw him when I got to the salad bar.
