Chapter 13-Dresses and Sicknesses

I woke up this morning feeling like I was hit by a truck. My head pounded. My throat felt like a desert. My nose was like a waterfall. I rolled over slowly to check my phone. 5:43. Are you fucking kidding me? I rolled back over and closed my eyes. Nothing. I gave up on trying to sleep. I couldn't get up,it was only 5 in the morning! I played my phone for about 10 minutes until it died. I scanned my room searching for my charger,when I finally spotted it,across my room. I didn't want to get up. I laid there,thinking about random things. I decided to just get up and shower. I got in and stood there like a zombie. I got out feeling a little better and jumped into sweats and a loose crop top. I pulled my hair up into a messy bun and went upstairs. I checked the clock. 7:36. Well it's better than 5. I ate about 3 tiny spoonfuls of cereal until I felt like puking. Literally. I got up and ran to the bathroom and well,puked. I groaned. I grabbed my phone(which was now charged) and called Ashley.

"Hello?" She asked.

"Hey." I whispered.

"What's wrong? You sound disgusting." She commented.

"Haha," I fake laughed."Listen I feel disgusting and I need some drugs but I'm all out." I breathed.

"So..you want me to go to the pharmacy for you?" She asked.

"Yes please." I said groggily.

"Okay,see you soon!" She hung up. Thank god for for her. I flopped on my couch and waited for Ash. "Hey!" She yelled as opening the door. I groaned. "Why is it so dark in here?" She asked.

"It's not dark." I moaned. She flung the curtains open. "Ah! The light! It burns my eyeballs!" I shrieked. She rolled her eyes. She grabbed the medicine from the grocery bag and threw it at me.

"Your welcome!" She said sarcastically.

"Thanks." I moaned. I got up and grabbed a glass of water and took 2 pills. About two seconds after I was running to the bathroom again. What the fuck? "You can go if you want to Ash." I yelled.

"Okay bye!" She yelled back. Wow. I thought she would stay. I grabbed a face cloth and wiped my face. I walked out of the bathroom slowly. I grabbed my phone and texted Kian.

N-I'm sick😒

K-awe,U okay?

N-ye,I just don't understand how I was fine yesterday and today I'm puking my guts out

Ugh I hate being sick. It's like being on your period but 25 times worse. I waddled over to my cupboard and grabbed some crackers. Then I walked back over to my couch and flopped onto my back. I nibbled on the crackers and dosed off.

Coffee coffee coffee coffee coffee coffee coffee coffee cof..

"Hello?" I answered my phone barely awake.

"Wassup gurlfrand?" Connor asked.

"I'm sick Con." I groaned.

"Ooh,dats nasty." He said sassily.

"I know right."

"Well I just called to check up on you."

"I'm fine Con. Just a little sick,that's all." I reassured him.

"Well,okay. Bye Nat!" He hung up. I looked at the time. 12:03. Shit,how long did I sleep for? Well,at least I felt better. I went downstairs and changed into skinny jeans and straightened my hair. I applied some simple makeup and walked back upstairs. I decided to call Ash and reschedule our shopping spree.

"Hey!" She said cheerfully.

"Hey!" I exclaimed back.

"Feeling better?" She asked.

"Yep. I was wondering if you want to do our shopping spree since we couldn't do it yesterday."

"Sure! I'll pick you up in a few!"

"KK!" I yelled. We hung up. I went downstairs and brushed my teeth. Then I walked upstairs and put on my converse sneakers,grabbed my purse and waited by the door. Ashley pulled up as I was locking my door. I walked over and jumped in her mustang. When we arrived at the mall we went straight for the dress section. I got a black lace dress,a red short dress,and a flowy peach coloured dress. She got a purple party dress,a black cocktail dress and a baby blue summer dress. After the mall we headed for Starbucks. We went in and order our usual orders. After that she took me home.

"Thanks Ash!" I said as getting out.

"Thanks Nat!" She yelled. I waved as she drove away. I went inside and cut the tags off my new dresses and put them away. Then I made spaghetti noodles and cheese wiz for dinner. When I was done eating I went downstairs and change into spandex shorts and one of Kians shirts. I walked to my bathroom and wiped off my makeup. When it was all off I walked over to my bed and plopped on my back.

"Goodnight babe,love you!" I texted Kian. I turned on Netflix and watched Castaway until I fell asleep.

/the next morning/

I woke up to see my phone vibrating. Ashley was texting me.

N-What?!

A-You got me sick.

I laughed. I guess I was contagious yesterday.
