"What is it Mick?" Hayley asked, her voice muffled due to crying for her dearest friend
"She has a pulse." Mick said making everyone pay much attention "But it's so faint you can't feel it. Only the monitor is detecting it. Bad news is.. I can't think of a way to save her. It's only a matter of time she's gone if we don't come up with something."
Brody looked down to the ground. His eyes red and puffy.
"What are we gonna tell her family? She's gone because I failed to protect her? That I made a wrong decision which lead to it!?" He exclaimed, his breath shaky
"You didn't make a wrong decision." Levi said
"There's one single string of hope. That's cause she's strongest of us all." Calvin said
"We're not gonna give up. We're gonna keep thinking and searching for a way to save her." Sarah said
"Come on." Hayley said as she put her hand up to Brody who took it with a smile
"Let's do it." He said
Meanwhile Preston took a moment to stare at his unconscious friend. It saddened him a lot.
I'm gonna know what's that spell.
He made a silent promise to himself for the sake of his friend.
"I checked her whole body. Nothing seems to need... medical treatment. So we still don't know what is needed." Mick said
Brody's P.O.V
Hearing what Mick had said, I walked and sat by Gemma. I held her hand -her nails was painted beautiful red with her ring finger white - and I just gazed at her.
What would I do if she's really gone? I won't be able to live on my own with it. Let alone have to tell her family.
Moments later, Preston burst into the base. Everybody looked at him.
"I found the spell. And its reverse." He said, happiness clear in his voice
"What are we waiting for then? Let's start working on it." Sarah said jumping from her place
Fear rushed through me. Fear of losing her.
After all, the reverse spell is our only hope.
