Smut on the pole

A week had passed since that night of ignoring each other. Well... It hadn't changed much.
Mark was still being petty about Jack leaving him to himself that night. He'd complain about it and bring it up whenever Jack said we was going somewhere.
Jack rolled his eyes and chose to ignore whenever Mark annoyingly brought that topic up, or he chose to leave in silence and ignore when Mark asked where he was going.

Today was a lazy day for Jack, it was a full day off to do anything he wanted with his time without dealing with Mark who had to tend to some part of the Hotel.
Who wants to be productive in these times?
He snuggled into the warm comforting sheet that replaced the warmth of a person. Who needs someone with you when you've got a warm bed that will never ignore you? A smile crosses his face as he drifts into sleep.

"Jack?" Mark calls, the elevator doors closing behind him. He scans the room. Empty? He continues to walk through the house calling Jacks name to no reply. Making him slightly worried. He didn't think Jack would of left without telling him... Would he?
'I've been unfair to him lately, if he left without a word I shouldn't be surprised. Maybe I should just accept that he did the right thing that night...'
"Ja-" Mark stopped himself as he glanced into the main bedroom to find Jack had favored to sleeping in bed all day. He smiled at the sight of the sheets mostly off him. He had to of thrown the sheets off in his slumber, it must've been humid under the sheets.
Mark smiles wider as he takes quiet steps to ensure he didn't wake Jack. He kneels in front of him, studying his peaceful expression of sleep. A small smile on Jacks face.
Mark brushed Jacks hair from over his forehead to clear a landing for the kiss he gave his forehead.
He combs his fingers through Jacks hair.

Jack stirred with a hushed groan.
"Mmmm... M-Mark?" He says groggily, barely clear enough to understand.

Mark sat on his haunches, hesitating what to say or do. He'd accidentally woken him up.
"Shhh, yeah it's me. Sorry for waking you up hun, I just wanted to make sure you were okay before heading back to work" he explains. Jack smiles.

"How thoughtful." He chuckles, keeping his eyes closed. "Do you need anything?"

"You~" Mark jokes. Making Jack laugh and complain at the cringiness.

"Another time~" Jack opens his eyes, focusing on a pouting Mark. "Nooooo, no you don't. That won't work on me this time" Jack announces, pushing a hand against Marks cheek to push his face away. "You've got work, you don't have time for that" Jack explains. Mark sighs.

"Okay then, I see how it is" he pretend sniffles. "I'll see you after work then" he stands up with a smiles. "I love you"

"I love you too Mark. I'll be right here, ready, waiting for you at... What time?"

"5, so in 5 hours. I'll be excited to see you all day. Did you need anything before I go?"

"Just a hug and kiss" Mark smiled and knelt back down. Kissed him on the lips... he'd fallen into a trap. Jacks hands cupped his cheeks, holding him in the kiss. The kiss turned from a simple peck to a full passionate make out. Mark melted into the kiss, feeling loved after so long of lacking it because of his own ignorance. He could feel the desperate need for this that Jack emitted. Jack released Mark, hoping he would stay.
But to his disappointment, Mark pulled away.

"J-Jack, what happened to that I have to go work?"

"S-Sorry... I'll let you go back. I'll see you at 5" he smiles, laying back down in bed, turning over. Facing away from Mark.

"Sorry Jack. I promise we can once I finish working, I can see if I can finish early if you really need" Mark offers. Jack shakes his head.

"No, do what you need to. I can wait. Don't think thats sarcasm either" Jack laughs.  Mark laughs back.

"Okay, if your sure" he kisses Jack once more before he leaves. Feeling some guilt at not satisfying Jacks needs, but as Jack said, he had work to do, when Jack had work he went and did the work... 'I guess were even now'.
