"So, I'm thinking we should create a portable device that can translate any language." Jackson was saying. I was doing my best to pay attention.

He pushed his glasses closer to his face. "Are you even listening to me?" Jackson complained. "Uh..."I tried to say. Jackson groans loudly, "Fitz if we're going to win the science competition, you need to pay attention." Jackson says. "Yeah, whatever," I say without much enthusiasm.

Oh hold up let's start with some introductions, my name is Fitz Johansen, you've probably heard about me, I'm one of the class comedians, the guy who stands up to bullies, the guy who plays pranks on teachers, nasty pranks. I'm a fourteen-year-old, I have dark red hair, deep blue eyes and I'm as thin as a stick.

Jackson is a blondie, and as you already know wears glasses and is super smart. Last summer he created a blob monster that eats hair (weird).

We've both been paired to do a mind-blowing science project, Jackson thinks we should make a universal translator but I say shrink ray. Imagine being able to shrink all your 'cheat papers' and bring them to a test without being caught, kids would line up and pay for anything to have that.

Unfortunately, Jackson says no. "That's not my area of expertise." He says to me when I bring up the subject again. "If you want someone to do it for you, why don't you go meet Antman or Hank Pym. "He says.

I laugh, correction we both laugh. "Good one," I say."But be serious which one are we going to do?" I asked. BAM! The loud opening of my room door cut Jackson from speaking, Dave walks in panting. (oh great I forgot he was in the house ).

Dave is a short black American, he always wears this weird chain which he says brings good luck and he's super fast. I have this weird feeling that  Dave is going to say something stupid, as usual.

I hope you liked the first chapter, please don't forget to vote and comment, and if possible follow me. Thanks and God bless you.
