I was swimming in and ocean of black. I saw a crack of light off in the distance, I swam towards it. I tried to pull it open. My hands could barley fit, despite its size. They light grew larger by itself. The light was blinding. I squeezed my eyes shut, but it didn't help. I was blinded.

I opened my eyes to find myself in a plain white room. Am I dead? I felt a rough sensation on my hand. It felt too real for it to be a dream. I lifted my head up, pain shot up my shoulder, I groaned. I laid it back down.

Nope, definitely alive.

I saw a large silvery head pop up from the floor. It was tall enough that the thing didn't have to stretch to rest its head on the blankets. I finally made eye contact with the thing, and I was staring into icy blue eyes. Storm. I lifted my hand and scratched his head. He whined. And started to bark at me. He wasn't that loud, but it still hurt my ears. A nurse burst into the room.

"I swear if that thing barks one more time ..." She muttered. She stopped when she saw me awake. "Oh dear! You're awake, that's good."

"What happened?" I asked, but I didn't need an answer. The memories flooded into my mind. Chris almost ran me over with his bike. "I want to see Jason," I ordered, "Please" I added.

"Hold on sweetie, the doctor needs to check on you before you see anyone." She went up to an intercom.

"Patient 2580 is awake, she is awake." She said.

<<Ok Sofia, we will send Dr. Johnson right up.>> the voice replied. The nurse left the room and I was alone with Storm. I smiled and scratched his head.

"Thanks buddy." I rubbed his ears. His facial expression was like I love you, and I won't let anything hurt you anymore. The doctor came in and smiled.

"I am so glad you are awake, how are you feeling?" He asked. He pulled out a stethoscope and started to hear my heartbeat. Storm growled. I scratched his head.

"Uh a little sore, but how long was I unconscious?" I asked cautiously.

"Six days sweetheart, you were pretty banged up. Now can you tell me what happened?" He asked curiously. I glanced at my wrist, it was bandaged in a splint.

"What happened to my wrist?" I asked. I lifted it, and I felt a small twang of pain, and set it down again.

"Well," He told me, checking his clipboard, "You broke you wrist and bruised your rib. You went under surgery and they fixed it up. Now, tell me what happened."

"I don't really know, but I was hit by something. Can I see one of my friends?" I lied, I just needed to talk to Jason.

"Well, I guess so, your X-rays look good, and your wrist is healing fine, so I will call his family and ask them if he can come." He told me. I said thanks and he left. I soon fell asleep, I don't know for how long, but I heard a voice that I have wanted to hear for what feels like forever.

"Hey Brie, you awake?" I opened my eyes and smiled.

"Hi Jason, miss me?" I asked grinning.

"You have no idea." He grinned. "So, what did you want to talk about?"

"Do you know what happened? I mean, to me?" I asked. Jason looked puzzled. "I was walking, and I saw Chris riding his four wheeler, and he purposefully slammed into me. I sent Storm I get you just before I blacked out."

"Are you sure? Maybe it was an accident?" he asked puzzled.

"It wasn't, I heard him say, Try to get up from that, and the he called me 'wolf girl', and then drove away." Jason stared at me wide eyed.

"Why would he want to do that?" Jason hissed.

"When you too, fought, remembered I stepped in and told him that I hated him. He did tell me that I should watch out." I could feel the anger prickling at my skin. It was more anger than I have ever felt. Storm bared his teeth and growled. I sat up and winced in pain. I checked my arm and realized that I had no tubes attached to me. I swung my legs out of bed. I looked at my clothes. I had on a pale pink shirt, and some sweats on. I looked at it surprised, expecting to be wearing a hospital gown.

I glanced at my wrist. That started to throb. I glanced at Storm who was glued to my side. I am not leaving you side. Ever. I smiled at him. It was comforting to know that someone wouldn't leave me. We left the room and walked down the stairs. I ran into a nurse who stopped to look at me.

"Brianna! You need to get back to bed right now!" She started to push me back too my room. Storm started to growl, and the nurse jumped back. "He is not going to allowed here anymore," She warned.

"Oh, don't worry, I am leaving." Jason gasped. I smiled. I walked down the hallway into the lobby. Storm started to growl. I scratched his head to calm him down. He kept growling, even louder this time. I bent down to his level. "Buddy, what wrong?" He growled even louder. I heard a rumbling sound, the ground began to vibrate. I looked at Jason, who was at the other end of the hallway. He looked at me puzzled, and started to walk towards me. "Don't move!" I yelled trying to be heard over the rumbling that grew louder and louder.

The lights flickered, and them went out. Jason's eyes grew wide, he saw what happens to me when the power goes out. I felt the color start to drain form my face, but then clouds of dust or something started to fall. The walls began to crack, like a chick hatching from its egg. They creeped across to walls to the two pillars that were holding the door up.

They gave away to the invisible weight, and shattered, wood flying everywhere. The wall they were holding up started to fall. Storm dove in front of me, shielding me from the wood. I looked at Jason who was of the other side of the fallen pillars. He was a white as marble. The wall crashed between us.

The walls starts to fall around me. Nurses were escorting patients from the hospital, but they forgot me. They must have thought that I was just a visitor, coming to go see someone.

The walls hit the floor causing the floor to splinter. The tiles started to sink into the ground from the weight of the walls. Ceilings toppled around me, Storm pressed himself into me. I was to scared to scream, or even move. The walls closed in on me trapping all the light, and leaving me in the darkness. Alone.
