Him & I - Nick Mara

Chapter 7

Me and Nick were on our way to Breakfast and he was being super flirty the whole car ride. I decided I would just leave it be and not friend zone him today since it was hir birthday.  I decided to just put in some music so he would shut up.

I connected my phone and turned up the volume. "Close Friends" by Lil Baby playing, and I was singing along to all the words. "Why are you playing this emotional shit? It's my birthday, I'm not trying to be in my feelings." Nick said. "Fine I'll change it." I said, and put on "Act up" by City Girls.

"Real ass bitch give a fuck bout a nigga!" I yelled when the song started. "Stop lying! You fake as hell." Nick said laughing. "You just mad cause I don't want you." I said. "What I gotta be mad for? I could have you easily if I wanted." He said. "Oh really?" I said. "Yes really." He replied.

"Whatever boy just park the car so we can eat.." I said, and we got out to go to IHOP.

After Breakfast me and Jada went to the Outlet to look around and take pictures. Then, we went to the Ugg store because Jada wanted some fluffy ugg sandals.

"These are so cute." She said. "Those are ugly as hell. Where would you even wear those? They look like house slippers." I said. "Whatever Nicholas." She said. "Oh so you calling me by my whole name now?" I said.

"Yes I am cause I do what I want." She said. "Mmm okay." I said. "These shoes are expensive. I don't have $100 to spend on shoes right now." She said and we left the store.  Before we could leave, I went back in the store and bought the shoes for her. 

I got the Yellow ones that she said were her favorite. "Are these for your girlfriend that you were in here with earlier?" The cashier asked. "Yeah they're for her but she's not my girlfriend." I said. "Oh sorry." The cashier said. "It's fine. Hopefully she will be soon though." I said, and grabbed my bag to leave.

When I finally found Jada, she was standing outside the store talking to some guy. "Hey where were you?" She asked. "I was still in the store. Who is this?" I asked while looking the guy up and down.

"This is Chris. I follow him on Instagram." She said. "Hey man what's up!" Chris said while holding his hand out for me to shake. It was obvious that he was trying to flirt with Jada but, I needed to make it very clear that she was off limits.

"I got you something." I said and handed Jada the shoes. "Oh my God! Nick! Why did you buy these? It's your birthday, you shouldn't be spending money on me." She said. "I don't care. I wanted to buy you the shoes so just take them." I said. "Fine. Thank you." She said while blushing and she gave me a quick kiss on the cheek.

After she kisses me on the cheek, Chris got the message and told her buy and left. "Where we going now?" I asked. "I don't know. What time is it?"
Jada asked. "It's three o'clock." I said. "Oh shit! We gotta go. Come on Nick." She said and grabbed my hand.

We ran all the way to my car. "Why are you in such a hurry?" I asked. "You'll see just give me the keys." She said. "No way in hell! You're not driving my car." I said. "Yes I am." She said. "No you're not." I said. "Nick I don't have time to argue with you! Just give me the damn keys!" She yelled.

She looked mad at me so i just gave her the keys and got in the passenger seat.

Jada drove to the house like a maniac. "Shit! Slow down." I yelled. "No! We gotta hurry up or we'll be late." She said.  I had no idea what was going on but when we got to the house, she jumped out.  "Go put on swimming clothes and get back in the car." She said. "Don't procrastinate either! You have five minutes!" She yelled at me.

I just went along with whatever she said because I didn't have time to disagree with her. I went upstairs and put on my black checkered swim trunks and a white vans tank top with some slides.

Jada was already downstairs waiting for me. She had a neon green bikini on that barely covered anything and a mesh cover up.  Her outfit had my imagination running wild. "Stop staring at me and get in the car Nick." She said.

She smirked and started walking away. Before I knew what I was doing, I grabbed her and pulled her in and kissed her.  She didn't pull away a from me so I kept going. After a few minutes she backed away from me.

"Why'd you do that?" She asked. "Because I wanted to." I said.  "Whatever. I don't have time to discuss what just happened but we will talk about it later." She said.
"I was hoping we would talk about it now." I said. "Fine but we need to drive too cause we have somewhere to be." She said.

"Okay I'm fine with that." I said, and got in the car.
