Second chapter! Woo! I'm like writing this in school right now in homeroom....10 minutes to kill so why not write this now?

I'm not sure how long I waited. It seemed like an hour before I heard the counselors file out from the rec room.

"Leo needs to work faster if we're going to meet the Romans on the solstice." Spoke a stressed Annabeth.

"He's working as fast as he can, if he works any faster he'll run into problems." Piper replied. Jason followed out right behind them. They didn't seem to notice me. After them a chubby kid came out yawning.

"Gosh I'm so tired. Can I sleep here the walk to my cabin is too far." He said. His head was oddly shaped like a wedge.

"No, Clovis. You can make it back to your cabin just fine." Chiron said. He was in a wheel chair now. How he fit into it, I don't know. I sat waiting for Pollux, I guess he's my brother, somehow--question one still had no definitive answer. He was standing behind Chiron, waiting for the other counselors to leave.

"Pollux, this is Mia, please show her around camp and help her get her things from cabin eleven and into cabin twelve." Chiron said direction to me. I smiled and he smiled back. He seemed happy, but then upset at the same time. "Help her get adjusted, you know how it works." Chiron spoke before wheeling himself down another hallway.

"Alright, this way." Pollux said to me as he walked out. He was athletic looking--like a football player. I guess he was handsome, nothing out of a magazine but typical looking guy. A round nose, like mine, but he was much more stocky. He and I would not be recognized as brother and sister if you didn't know us. The only thing we have in common looks is our eyes, they're violet, and the round nose--assuming from our godly father. I have small, sharp facial features, and tiny build, like a marathon runner.

Pollux first took me to the cabins, walking across the lawn towards the cabins. We were quiet, but not it wasn't an awkward quiet. It was like we didn't know what to say to one another. So I decided to break the ice sooner rather than later.

"So what's it like living here?" I asked, fiddling my thumbs.

"It's great!" Pollux smiled."Very fun. We have all these cool activities we do and games. And you get to make a lot of friends who understand your past."

"Ooo...yeah sounds fun. But with the gods, are we all related?" I asked.

"Ahhh.." he shrugged,"Sorta, but the godly side doesn't count, so only we're related."

"Oh. So people date here?" I was flabbergasted, kind of embarrassed to ask about it. I never had a boyfriend--happens when you grow up isolated from people your age.

"Yeah. Why do you ask?" Pollux looked at me with this look in his eyes that Avery used to give me when he'd tease me. First sign we would get along.

"I don't know. Just curious?" There were a lot of good looking people here, that's all I'll say about that right now.

"You don't sound very sure." Pollux teased. His eyes had a glint of humor, but also this weird protective guard. Not sure why.

"I am!" I said laughing a bit to try to ease the uncomfortable feeling that began in my stomach. He joined my laughter, helping me feel less uncomfortable. By this time we were at cabin eleven. Pollux ushered me in and helped grab my stuff. I took my back pack, Pollux my suitcase. The cabin was empty due to the activities going on Pollux explained.

"Okay so it's this cabin right here." Pollux pointed to the cabin next to cabin eleven. It was a deep purple—almost black—with grape vines growing on the wall and on the roof. It was one floor with a small porch with two chairs and a small table. I liked the quaint vibes I was getting. Pollux opened the door, exposing six beds in the cabin. Three on the right, and three on the left. There were chests at the foot of each bed facing the door and a nightstand with various drawers next to the bed. A shelf sat above the bed, perfect for storing books. Items occupied the bed on the right nearest to the door. "Any bunk on the left is yours."
