Here's chapter 3, comment on what ya think!

"So what weapon would you prefer?" Pollux asked, gesturing inside the weapon shed thingy. There were a lot of really cool weapons, like swords, daggers, guns, and even a weed whacker. The latter two seemed out of place given the setting of where we were.
"What's that for?" I laughed pointing to the weed whacker. It seemed bizarre that this could be someone's choice weapon.
"This is also storage, maybe the nymphs use it to terrorize campers who litter." he said with a sarcastic tone.
"Well." Storage makes more sense, I thought. Too bad, it would have been a site to see someone wielding that weed whacker.
I spent some time admiring many of the weapons. There was this sword that with a black hilt that was three-fourths my size. I picked it up to show Pollux, but the rings my mom gave me started to burn my fingers. "Ouch!" I shouted dropping the sword.
"What happened? Did you cut yourself?" Pollux panicked. He grabbed my wrists to look at my hands.
"No, no. My fingers started to burn where my rings are. I just dropped the sword." I explained. My left thumb and right index finger were red.
"Your fingers are red, but it's fading quick so you'll be fine." Pollux examined. "Huh. Umm, where did you get those rings?"
"They were my mom's. Why?" What a weird question to ask at this moment.
"Because they might be weapons." I looked at him like he was crazy. "It's the only explanation; I mean otherwise your fingers wouldn't have magically burned."
"Well my mom has worn these forever, then for my tenth birthday she just gave them to me." I suppose magically weapon rings was the only solution.
Pollux raised his eyebrow. "Okay, did Dionysus give these to you?"
"My mom did. You don't think?"
"Give it a try."
I held my hands out; Pollux took two large steps back. Well here goes nothing. I tried to get the "weapons out" but it wasn't working. I kept on trying but nothing happened.
"Oh come on!" I shouted, rubbing the rings. I must have done something right because a dagger appeared in my left hand and a sword in my right.
"That's... interesting." Pollux said eyeing my weapons. I just grinned I was so happy that the sword and dagger were perfect lengths for my height. The dagger was the small ring and the sword in the other (obviously the larger ring).
"No one else fights like this?"
"Nah. But the dagger just replaces the shield and it will make your opponent have to be extra aware of your fighting. 'Cause ya know you have two weapons."
"Okay. So when do I learn to use these?" It seemed rather awkward to use two weapons to fight.
"We'll you'll have to learn to fight with the sword and shield first, then I'll teach ya." Pollux grinned. "Right now, we have archery class."
Archery seems like fun. Pollux explained we were joining the Demeter cabin on our way there. They weren't amazing but they didn't miss the target. Pollux introduced me to Miranda Gardner, the counselor of the cabin. She was nice, but not someone I'd befriend (why don't ask cause I don't know).
"Okay. So nock the arrow, the fletching is facing the wrong way. Okay good. Now raise the bow up. Look down the arrow, good, good." He was starting to annoy me, a few Demeter kids snickered. "Now aim, before you shoot, take a deep breath, and exhale. It will help keep the shoot steady." He took a breath, finally. "When you're ready."
