I woke feeling like I was beat with a bag of bricks.

"Gods, Clarisse! I'm dying!" I groan as I pulled my self up from my bunk. I slowly crept my way to the bathroom to get dressed. Every step was like walking through a stream of honey that is flowing against you. I threw on a purple tank top and jeans and I heard a knock at my door.

"Coming!" I shouted. I straightened up and my back cracked and felt amazing. "Sweet beans, that's the stuff."

I continued to crack various parts of my body as I made my way to the door. I opened it to see Connor and Travis.

"Morning Mia." Connor greeted spinning a drachma.

"Anything I can help you with?" I sighed.

"Yes actually. We want to go on an adventure." Travis said with quotations around 'adventure.'

"We want to go to the city and see a movie. But we don't have any money and we want to know if you have any." Connor finished. They both had pleading eyes and puppy dog lips.

"You look like you're five." I told them both. "And sorry I don't have any money."

I lied, but I don't want them to know I have money, I may need it.

"Darn it!" Connor stamped his foot.

"We just want to see The Women in Black!" Travis groaned. I raised my eyebrows. I wanted to see that movie too.

"Hey, I have an idea. How about all three of us go into the city for the day. No one will notice us being gone."

"Cool!" Travis grinned.

"Wait, what about money?" Connor questioned.

"No problem. We'll sneak in." I said confidently.

"Awesome!" the boys cheers giving each other a high five.

"Alright, let's go." I grabbed a sweatshirt and we ran off.

After five minutes of running, we stopped at the climbing wall.

"Why are we here?" I asked.

"There's a short cut to the road that Hermes kids have been using for centuries." Connor said looking around.

"Yeah, and by short cut, extra long path to the road but we won't get caught." Travis clarified.

"Fantastic. Let's take a hike before we go to the movies." I said sarcastically.

"Well we won't get caught. Now come on, before someone sees us." Connor said quickly as he turned for the woods.

"We will be seen, just by the nymphs who most likely won't care." I said running after him and Travis.

"They're not important anyways." Travis said. An acorn hit him in the back of the head. "Ouch!"

"Travis shut up!" Connor scolded Travis rubbed his head and I laughed.

We were running for about 25 minutes when Connor and Travis stopped.

"Come on! We have to keep moving, unless you want to fight a monster out here." I warned. COnnor and Travis were trying to catch their breath.

"Hey, not all of us can run marathons." Connor said between breaths.

"We only ran like three miles!" I stated.

"That's like twenty three more mile until a marathon." Travis said.

"Oh gods, what am I going to do with you." I crossed my arms annoyed. They grinned like they we're trying to laugh but they didn't have the breath for it.
