Part Two is here! Will Hajime and Chiaki get back together..? Let's find out together!
————————————————————————
Rain poured down that morning as the dark clouds continued to roll in. Everyone was either running or walking with umbrellas to school. One false step and you could get soaked by a moving car.

"Argh...couldn't it rain without it being a school day?" Kazuichi groaned, gripping her umbrella with one hand and his other arm around his girlfriend Sonia.

"Mother Nature must have a grudge against you." Ibuki snickered.

"I think it is such a lovely day, rain or sun." Sonia said with a smile on her face. Kazuichi kissed her on the forehead, making Ibuki irk in disgust.

"Good morning." Peko waved as everyone came up to a storefront. She and Fuyuhiko were waiting underneath the awning, opening their umbrellas just as everyone came down.

"Peko...I don't need you to open my umbrella!" Fuyuhiko sighed. "Stop treating me like a kid."

"Aw, c'mon...that could be her way of saying that she-" Kazuichi tried to say, but Peko stopped him by stepping on his toes.

"Thank you." Fuyuhiko acknowledged, making Peko nodded in return.

"Anyways...did you guys get the text yesterday?" Ibuki asked. "Why would Kishiko do that?"

"Who knows?" Fuyuhiko shrugged. "Regardless, Nagito was pissed at her when he got it. Hate to be her right now."

"Do you think something happened with Chiaki? Sonia asked, looking at her boyfriend.
He couldn't answer her for he had no idea.

Soon, they reached the school and as they entered, they saw Nagito and Kishiko yelling at each other.

"Are you out of your mind?!" She yelled at him. "You wanna go to detention?"

"You better have a good reason for that bullshit text you sent yesterday!" Nagito crossed his arms.

"It's none of our business to be interfering into Chiaki's life." She raised her hands in defence. "I am not gonna force her into something she doesn't want to do!"

"That's because you're nothing but a wuss!" He taunted, causing her fists to turn white. Ibuki immediately took action and separated the two.

"Knock it off, the both of you! This isn't worth getting expelled for!" She scolded, causing both Nagito and Kishiko to bow their heads in shame. "Now, make up."

"Sorry for yelling..." He apologized first, mumbling loud enough for her to hear.

"Me too...I'm sorry." She replied, offering a handshake, which he accepted.

"Now then, Kishiko will calmly explain the reason for the text." Ibuki said, but unfortunately the school bell rang, indicating school was beginning. "Okay...she will explain during lunch."

Meanwhile, on her way to school, Chiaki was walking alongside Mikan when she got a notification on her phone.

"Huh? Who could be texting at this hour?" Chiaki groaned as she took out her phone.
The notification showed that it was from Hajime and she immediately unlocked her phone.

'Hey Chiaki. I would like to meet up. How about after school today? I know a nice sushi place in town."

"Woah! Hajime is texting you again?" Mikan asked, peering over her friend's shoulder. "What happened?"

"Well...we saw each other at the library and..." Chiaki explained, but it was obvious from the text what was going on.

"Do you think you will get back together?"

"..." She didn't want to jinx it. She just wanted things to happen as it came. Mikan hugged her from behind before they moved on.

Some time later, everyone was dismissed as another school day was done and thankfully there was no rain.

Hajime stood by the fountain waiting on Chiaki as she had agreed to meet him. Something caught his eye as he saw Nagito walking over to the pool.

"Hey." Chiaki greeted, running over to meet with him.

"Hi...did you see Nagito recently?" Hajime asked, pointing to the pool. "He looked pissed."

"Oh...yeah. He's probably mad at Kishiko still. She ditched them during lunch because of their 'plan.'

"Seriously?..Wait! What plan?" He jumped up in shock.

"I'll explain on the way to the restaurant." Chiaki giggled as she grabbed Hajime's arm despite his protesting.
————————————————————————
After their meal in a comfortable silence, Chiaki and Hajime sat on a bench in the park. The sun was beginning to set with warm colours mixing in the sky. A chill shivered down Chiaki's spine, making Hajime take off his jacket.

"No, don't. You'll get sick." She protested.

"Meh. I'm always looking for reasons to skip school." He replied with a wink.

She nodded and pulled his jacket over her, blushing.

"So...about us...are we..." He tried to avoid hurting her feelings but still manage to get the point.

"Hajime...I want you to tell me what happened." She calmly replied, catching him off guard. "Now that I am calm, I realize that I shouldn't have run away from the situation...but then again, I wasn't in the right mindset."

"Chiaki..."

"So, please. Start from the very beginning."

Short story of it all was that the girl he was seen with was a classmate of his in the Reverse Course. Of course, she wanted him to help her in her studies, but of course, she began to make sexual advances towards him. She wanted him to be his girlfriend and to dump Chiaki, but he refused. So, she forcefully kissed him...but he felt bad for returning it.

"I'm so sorry. I... I regret pushing her away..." Hajime stated with tears. "I am such an idiot to thinking she was needing help, but all she wanted was something else."

"..." She remained silent throughout his confession and was now pondering her response.

"Chiaki? Please...say something."

"You are an idiot." She finally said. "You are an idiot for what you've done."

He felt his heart drop and sighed, realizing it was too late...

"However...that's why I love about you." She continued, causing Hajime to look at her with surprise. "I know you better than that. I know you would never cheat on me...you are one of the most loyal people I know."

"You know I wouldn't cheat? How does that work?" He asked.

"Trust." She simply replied. "Yes, I was shocked but I knew that...you didn't like it despite your manly hormones getting the better of you."

"Manly What?" Hajime asked her again, but she didn't repeat what she had said. "Hold on...if you knew that I wasn't cheating, why were you crying?"

"Girl hormones, Hajime." She bluntly said.

"Oh..." He scratched the back of his head with embarrassment. "So, does that mean...we are still a couple?"

"...Yes, Hajime. We are." Chiaki nodded just before he grabbed her into a hug and spinning her around.

"I am so sorry. I will never ever hurt you again." He whispered as he kissed her.

"I know...but don't think about it too much, okay?" She asked. "We have our whole lives ahead of us...one bright future."

The End

Woo! They got back together. I know I left out the whole plan/Kishiko plot line open, but I plan to write a separate story for that since I like to write stories with a specific word count.
