October 31st was a special day for Hajime, Chiaki, and Nagito. Despite being too old to go trick or treating, they still love dressing up. Sometimes, they would help out parents by taking their kids out.

"Do you wanna do a collab piece this year?" Chiaki asked, sifting through the rack of costumes. "You know, have a similar theme?"

"What do you mean?" Nagito asked, wiping his glasses. "Wait...if you say Disney princesses, forget it!"

"What? I think you would be a cute Elsa, Nagito." Hajime snickered.

"Fuck off." The white haired boy muttered as he slapped his boyfriend in the arm. He then turned to a nearby rack and pulled out a dragon costume. "Ugh. This would look baggy on me."

"I think medieval is a little too cliche." Chiaki commented as she joined her lovers. "I was thinking more 'modern'".

"What about something we all love?" Hajime suggested, placing a finger on his chin. "You know, a shared interest?"

"Hey!" Chiaki scolded, face puffed in annoyance. "I was saying that earlier!...copycat."

Nagito sighed, watching the two of them bicker. Crossing his arms with a warm smile, he caught a glimpse of something that made him turn.

"Hey guys...what is that?" He called out, walking towards a circular rack. He pulled out a Harry Potter costume. It came with the robes, glasses and wig: exactly to a T.

"Ooh! Harry Potter! Great idea, Nagito!"
Chiaki gasped, kissing Nagito on the cheek. "We can dress up as Hogwarts students."

"Fine, but Hajime gets the wig." Nagito threw the Gryffindor robes at him before sifting through the rack. Seconds later, he pulled out a Slytherin robe and smirked. "I always thought green was my colour."

"Ooh! Ooh! I always wanted to be a Hufflepuff!" Chiaki cheered as she pulled out the black and yellow robes. Noticing a blue robe, she began to wonder. "Maybe we should invite a plus one?"

"Why?! This is our thing." Hajime asked, pulling the sleeves up on his robe. "Besides, everyone is too busy to be doing anything fun."

Chiaki shifted her feet back and forth, wanting to say something. Hajime and Nagito looked at each other unamused by her innocence.

"Alright, enough." Nagito said. "Who is it?"

"Kishiko...she has been locking herself in her house ever since she came home from her trip." Chaiki explained. "Maybe this would lighten her spirits up a bit."

"Eh..." Hajime scratched his head, nudging Nagito to say something.

"It's not like we don't like her or nothing, Chiaki." Nagito said. "This is our thing that we do. I mean, wouldn't she feel awkward...like a fourth wheel?"

She burrowed her eyebrows. "She isn't into that. Besides, romance is the last thing she should be worrying about."

"If you say so..." Hajime muttered under his breath. He took Nagito and Chiaki's robes and placed them on his arm. "I'll go pay for these."

"Don't forget the blue one, Hajime." Chiaki said, grabbing the Ravenclaw costume and throwing it on the pile.

"Y-yeah, of course." Hajime laughed nervously before giving a look of concern to Nagito. The white haired boy just shrugged in response.

As the sun set, the younger children came out to walk their streets. Empty pillowcases, bags, and pumpkin buckets were griped tightly. Soon, they will be filled with delicious treats that would last them until Christmas.

Chiaki, Nagito, and Hajime were already in costume, waiting for Kishiko at the front door. They too had pumpkin buckets, but they were filled to the brim with candy. They planned on handing out some while on their walk.

Chiaki was admiring herself in the hall mirror. She twirled around, letting the Hufflepuff robes float in midair. She had a huge smile on her face as she laughed in joy.

Hajime readjusted his fake glasses up the bridge of his nose. Kishiko came down the stairs wearing the Ravenclaw outfit, unamused.

"Hey, Chiaki? Are you sure this is okay?" She asked, brushing her hair off her face.

"Why do you say that?" Chiaki asked, grabbing her friend's hand. "It's Halloween. It is a time to have some excitement!"

She dragged her out of the house with Nagito and Hajime following them behind. The streets were lit with Jack-o-lanterns. Children were laughing as they ran door to door. There was a cool breeze that sent a shiver down their backs. The leaves danced and twirled on the concrete road.

Some kids came up to the group and Chiaki would hand out a piece of candy to each child. Each one gave them warm smiles as they thanked her and took off.

"Wow." Kishiko said, smiling. "I had no idea you guys were so generous. It is much better than getting drunk."

"You get drunk?" Nagito asked, raising an eyebrow.

"No..." She said, eyes shifting away. "Anyways, I have never felt more alive."

"Seriously?"

"What? I had dealt with a despair filled trip...just like you guys. Is this a way to cope? Because it is working."

"In a way...among other things." Hajime replied, wrapping his arms around Nagito and Chiaki's shoulders. Kishiko giggled at their expressions. "Maybe we can set you up with a date?"

"Ha. Like you know anyone who can handle me." She said, crossing her arms.

"Ahem." Nagito coughed, removing Hajime's arms. "Can we just focus on handing out candy? Don't scare the kids with mature stuff."

"Ugh. Fine." Hajime sighed before leading the way. The others looked at each other before catching up with him.
