Chapter 1

Life for the kids of the Isle of the Lost was easy to begin with when they lived in the Isle. Now, most of them live hard lives. Evie was mostly busy with making dresses and accessories with the help of Dizzy and Hades Jr. Hades Jr on the other hand became the royal tailor for King Ben thanks to the teaching's from Evie. Mal was the Queen now and had to pay attention everything that happened in Auradon. Jay went to the big leagues of sports to play Tourney. Carlos had it easy. He owned a Vet for animals. Uma was the freest one. Sailing with Harry and Gil. Hades Jr was walking through the castle and made his way to Ben's office. "My King." He said in a pompous voice and laughed. "Hey, Hade's." Ben laughed back. "Alright, what's the occasion?" Hades Jr asked getting his things ready. "A ball." Hades Jr looked at him with an eyebrow raised. "You do realize you have plenty of suits for that." "Yea but there's nothing bad in looking a bit different once in a while." Hades Jr started thinking. He started to get to work on Ben's outfit. "Invite Evie to the ball. I'm sending invites to all of our friends but since you and Evie live and work in the same place, you can do it." Hades Jr stopped what he was doing. "You planning a reunion or something?" he said and chuckled. "Something like that, yea. We haven't seen each other much except for when we visit Auradon Prep."Hades Jr nodded in agreement."Hey, did you hear that Carlos and Jane are engaged?" Hades Jr said with a piece of thread in his mouth. "I know. He keeps in touch so he told me the second it happened." Hades Jr stopped what he was doing for a second. "Say, you ever find out why Evie and him broke up?" Ben shook his head and Hades Jr just shrugged.

Hades Jr arrived home which is also his job. He saw Dizzy taking a nap on the couch so he went to the back. He saw Evie working on a design when he entered. He was about to walk in until he heard a voice. "Hey Hade's." Dizzy said behind him making him jump and drop his bag. Dizzy laughed when he got sacred and Evie turned around. "Shouldn't you be at school?" He said joking around. "Hey. How was Ben?" Evie asked. "He was good. Nothing much." She nodded and went back to her design. "Actually, he is hosting this Ball and invited all of us. He told me to invite you since, well, since we work and live in the same place." Evie's eyes lit up. "Like a reunion?" "Somewhat. We're still going to see everyone in like two days." He said and chuckled. "Yea I know, but this is a ball. I have to make an amazing dress." She said putting her thinking face on. "Might as well get your mirror from the museum and complete the set." He laughed. He turned away to his room to get some shut eye.

The next day he simply woke up and went to take a shower. He saw that she was still sleeping. As well as Dizzy who slept in the room next to Evie. He left with some binoculars and took a ride to the shore near Auradon Prep. He always kept and eye open to see if Uma and the rest of the crew were back. They've been out at sea since the Royal Wedding. He was about to leave until he saw beige sails with a skull on them. A couple minutes passed saw Uma, Harry and Gil get off. He shot a small blue flame at their feet and they looked up. "Hey! How was the seas!" Hades Jr shouted to them as they came up to the road. "It was good. Found new lands too." Uma said and gave a hug to Hades Jr. "Harry, Gil. What's up." He said smiling and gave them handshakes. They all got in Hades Jr car and he drove them to Evie's 4 Heart's. He got out and saw Evie dressed professional again. A blue blouse with black pants and flats. She was drinking a coffee as she came out. "Dang, Evie. Looking like you came out of a vault." Uma said. Evie curtsied and they hugged each other. 

Once they were inside, Hades Jr told them what they missed. Business being bigger, Carlos and Jane engaged, Jay and Lonnie being pro. "Dang, that's a lot." Evie nodded her head. "Then how's been Auradon." "Peaceful. No dangers, no attacks, nothing." Evie said happily. "It's boring." Hades Jr said and Harry laughed. "Oh come on. You love it like this. The quiet, the animals. Especially the one-on-one conversations." She said smiling. "How long have you two lived here?" Gil asked looking confused. "Ever since I came back from the Underworld so about three years, I think." Uma and Harry just had their eyes wide and Gill just nodded. " Why haven't you bought you're own place?" Uma asked. Hades Jr took a drink so Evie spoke up. "I don't know his reason but I like this place." Evie said. "I just like the place and company." Hades Jr said and shrugged. She smiled at him and then focused back on Uma. "Anyways, there's this Ball we are going to. It's like in three days." "Thanks for telling me. We're going with you." They all looked surprised but Evie went straight to dress making. "Guess we're doing this then."

Hades Jr woke up and did the same routine he did everyday. He woke a bit earlier then expected so he decided to work on Harry and Gil's outfits for the ball. 30 minutes passed and Evie woke up. She woke up to see Harry and Gil sword training outside and Hades Jr working. Uma wasn't even up yet. She walked into Hades Jr working as saw that he was listening to music as he worked. "We're gonna break this down. We're gonna rock the town-" He mumbled and Evie put a hand on his shoulder. "You have got to be kidding me." He said. "I'm sorry?" He raised his finger and she saw that because of her, he pricked his finger. Again. She grabbed the first aid and took his hand and wrapped it in a band-aid. "So, all your friends getting married but the woman who always wanted a prince still ain't got no ring? And you two have been living together for like three years?" Uma said from the doorway. Hades Jr just raised his eyebrow and Evie then cleared her throat. "I finished your dress after you all went to sleep." Evie spoke to Uma and showed her a sea blue dress with white accents and gold trims. "It's alright." Evie just gave a half smile. "You guy want to come to the school so we can show some stuff to the new VK's?" They nodded. Harry put down his cup of water and picked up his hook when he left. The water in the cup though, shaked.
