Chapter 12

"Finally! The Labyrinth finished. Crete restored! And I have one of them now!" King Minos yelled as Daedalus looked down. Typhon had just arrived and stood in front of King Minos with a woman of deep blue hair beside him. "Put her in the Labyrinth." King Minos told Typhon waving him off. "What ifff they freeee her?" Typhon asked with a slithery like tone. "Whole point of the Labyrinth, fool. No one can get out. So if they go to get her, no one can get out." Typhon scowled at him and left with the woman. He went to the Labyrinth and entered the center from the ceiling using a small hole. He went in and dropped her down. "Hade's is so gonna kick your-" Evie was saying before she was interrupted by a loud snort. She saw 6 yellow eyes in the dark before turning her attention to Typhon. "Besssst stay quiet, girlll." He told her before he boosted upwards in flight and closed the hole. The area was darkly lit by torches. She walked around until she came across a scaly tail. She stopped in her tracks and decided to sit by the wall trying to not wake this huge unknown beast. 

Auradon City, Ben and Mal's Castle

"So tell me again. You hit with the same blast you hit Ares with, just less purple, and barely left a scratch on him?" Ben asked Hades Jr as Hades Jr had his head in his hands. "That's what I keep telling or are you deaf?" Hades Jr told him getting a shocked look from both him and Mal. "Sorry. Just tired." Hades Jr apologized to Ben rubbing his temple. He then took out his phone and decided to search up how Typhon was defeated the last time. "What you looking up?" Mal asked. "How they beat this guy last time so I can do the same." He told her. He kept looking through and then sighed and threw his phone on the cushion next to him. "What's wrong?" Ben was concerned. "Found out how they stopped him. Turns out they didn't rather Zeus did. By picking up Mount Etna and dropping it on him." Hades Jr said picking up an imaginary mountain and dropping it. They all sighed and Hades Jr started to walk out before Ben told him something. "We'll find her okay. I promise you." Hades Jr nodded his head and walked out.

Hades Jr made his way towards the kitchens and found some of the others there. "Well I just found out that Typhon was killed before. By Zeus throwing a mountain on him." Hades Jr said as he walked in. Uma, Audrey, Gil and Jay had pleasant look on their faces until he mentioned the last part. "Anyway on trying to find Evie yet?" Gil asked but Hades Jr just put his head down as he shook it. They all sighed and stayed quiet for a while. A guard soon came in and told them that they have delivered something to the castle. As they made their way out of the kitchen, Ben and Mal starts walking with them outside. "What delivery? You know?" Ben asked Hades Jr but he simply shook his head.

They made their way outside and suddenly saw a large bronze head fall on the ground. "Hey! Careful with that!" Uma yelled and rushed past Ben, Mal and Hades Jr. "Why is the head of Talos here?" Gil asked. "Oh um we basically thought he could come in handy in the future or just be a display in the museum. Or at least Uma thought it." Jay said pointing towards Uma. Hades Jr was thinking about something in the meantime. "I got it." He said making everyone look towards him. "By Zeus you guys are dull. Typhon is a giant. Talos is a giant. Make Talos again, probably put some enchantments and boom we got an equal fight until Talos goes down." Hades Jr explained to them smiling widely. "That actually may just work." Ben said thinking about it. "And then what do we do when Talos goes down? Because there is still the fact that, oh I don't know, Zeus had to throw a mountain to kill him." Harry told him. Hades Jr started to think about that fact. "Either we run or just try to convince my dad to help." He told him with Mal nodding. "Okay but I have a question. If these are monsters, who we killed already, came back, then who brought them? Because I know the gods wouldn't do that and the gates of Tart-something aren't opened so what brought them back?" Gil said. "It's Tartarus and you have a point. Someone must opening like portals to the ancient times." Hades Jr thought. "I'll try to ask Hephaestus to see about rebuilding Talos." Hades Jr said. "Alright. We should finally get some rest and focus on everything tomorrow. You guys can work on that stuff because me and Mal have meetings to do." They all nodded and went inside.

The next day, everyone was doing their part at the castle. Ben and Mal were having meetings, Uma was helping the kitchen staff with cooking, Harry, Gil, Jay and Lonnie were training with soldiers, Carlos was with Jane just spending time together, Hephaestus was already rebuilding Talos like he heard them asking for his help. Hades Jr was eating some fish n' chips in the kitchen rubbing his head. "Hey, you alright?" Uma asked him sitting down next to him. "I had a dream. It was a monster but way bigger then Typhon. I couldn't see it properly but I saw lava fall. Then a tentacle appeared and then I woke up." He told her. She raised an eyebrow after he said this. "Don't know about all that but lemme tell you man, you got some strange dreams." She said as she grabbed one of his chips and laughed. He nodded and continued eating.

Suddenly, a servant burst in and told both Uma and Hades Jr to go to Ben's office. When they arrive, they see all of them a bit confused. "There you are. Look." Ben said and showed a photo to Uma and Hades Jr. It was a photo on InstaRoyal and it was of the Island far away where Talos once stood. Except they noticed a large stone building that had no windows. "What is that?" Hades Jr said pointing to it. "We don't know but it appeared there and it wasn't there before. A building that was guarded by a giant robot on an island that appeared out of nowhere one day. I feel like that could be where Evie is." Ben told him and Hades Jr immediately looked at him. "Wait, hold up. Before we go, we have to wait until Hephaestus to finish building Talos." Hades Jr just scuffed at him. "He's the god of fire and forges. He's probably almost done with it. We can head to the plaza and then get on Uma's ship and head to the Island. All of us." Hades Jr said and they nodded. Once they all got outside with their gear, they saw Talos already finished. They all got in a limo that was parked outside and they drove off with Talos walking behind them.
