Chapter 6

All of them left the castle and went to find the monster's they were to tasked to defeat. Ben and Mal got into a car and started to drive towards the museum. "Do you think this has something to do with Ares?" Ben asked Mal. "Could be. But Hades is keeping an eye on him. The real question is, Why all of a sudden these monsters are appearing? Why does it revolve around the gods? and Who is doing it?" Mal said. "You think it's the gods who are doing this?" "Well it says in the classic books before Mount Olympus was put in Auradon, the gods weren't all that kind. I mean did Zeus try to help? No. But I don't think they did this." Mal told him answering his question.

They arrive at the Museum and went to look around. They searched the entire place if they could anything to do with the Cyclops but nothing. "Do you know which way the cave of the Cyclops is?" Mal asked the security guard. The security guard pointed into the forest and then told them at the clearing. They started to make their way through the forest when something happened. As Mal kept walking, plants and flowers were getting bigger and more were growing. The landscape around them was becoming more luscious then normal. "What is going on?" Mal asked with Ben shrugging. They reached the Enchanted Forest and noticed stuff out of the ordinary. They started to run to reach the clearing faster when they saw a lion appear out nowhere.

They finally reached the clearing and saw the cave. They made their way towards it but in the blink of an eye, an old ancient ruin appeared. Ben and Mal looked around and saw broken down Greek pedestals and swamp like water. "You think the Cyclops is doing this?" Ben asked Mal. She shook her heard and Ben and her kept walking through the ruin's. They reached the cave entrance and began to look around the massive cave. "What's the plan?" Mal asked Ben. "I think we should draw him out and take him outside. Those ruins gave us an advantage if we need to hide. You can turn into a dragon and we can take out his eye." Mal nodded and they continued through the cave. They unsheathed the swords they took from the royal armory as they heard grunts. Once they got closer they saw the Cyclops who turned to the size of a giant. The Cyclops heard them move and looked at them. Ben and Mal froze as the Cyclops stood up and walked towards them. They saw him raise a broken tree trunk over his head and immediately knew what he was going to do so they rolled out of the way as the Cyclops slammed the trunk down to the ground. They ran towards the exit as they heard a scream and loud stomps heading in their direction.

They reached the small ruins and hid until the Cyclops came out. The Cyclops was as big as the pillars and he was looking around for them. It wasn't until Ben ran out distracting him making the Cyclops run at him. Mal went the other way and as her eyes turned green, purple smoke surrounded her and she turned into her dragon form. She flew over the ruins and headed straight for the Cyclops and blew fire on him. Ben moved out of the way as the Cyclops was burning on fire, but it was smart. The Cyclops threw a piece of a broken pillar at Mal's head making her fall and crash into a wall. She was getting up but saw the Cyclops run at her but she used her tail to smack him away. Ben used this as an opportunity to go for the Cyclops' eye but the as Ben went for it, the Cyclops tried to hit him but Ben moved. Mal, getting back up, picked up the Cyclops with her claws and dropped him on the ground letting Ben run up to him and strike him in the eye. 

Purple smoke formed around Mal and she transformed back to herself. As she came closer to the Cyclops, she see's Ben get up from behind his head. "Oh my god, you're safe." She said hugging him. "You can talk. You got hit in the face with stone, are you okay?" He asked caressing her face. She nodded and looked at the Cyclops as well as he. They saw as the Cyclops' body started glowing and disappeared as if Fairy Godmother just bibbidy-bobbidi-boo'd it. "Come on, let's get back to the castle and wait for the others." Ben said to Mal and they left the ruin's and back to the museum and drove back to the city.
