I sat in my office filling out paperwork as a few knocks hit my door.

"Enter." I spoke still focused on paper work. The door made a creek noose as i looked up.

"Hey man. I just came to give you this." He spoke setting a file on my desk with the red words on it saying 'REOPENED'

"Preciate it." I mumbled as he walked out. I opened the file as i read the contents inside.

It was the Solana Middleton case. How could it possibly be reopened? Every lead was a dead end.

I grabbed up my paper work and put it back as i grabbed the folder and l walked to my bosses office.

I knocked on the door as he answered.

"Um sir?"

"Oh Keith, my boy. Wassup son?"

"We've reopened the Solana case? Dad, every lead was a dead end and theres no more evidence."

"Your mom has found something we may have over looked and says we need to reinvestigate."

"But dad, i cant do this by myself."

"I know, thats why im putting you and Yn on this case."

"Wait. Yn Smith? Algees sister?" I spoke in disbelief.

"Yes, shes the brightest one on your moms task force. Shes the perfect canidate."

"Why not Ryan?" I whined.

"Bc you would never get anything done."

"But daddddd. I dont like Yn ." I whine like a 5 year old.

"Too bad. Now get started bc shes here." He spoke getting back to his paper work.

I groaned and walked out gently shutting his door.

I walked back to my office as she stood at my door.

I opened the door and walked past her as if i didn't see her. She scoffed as i sat down ignoring her.

"Are you just gonna stand there orrrr?" I spoke as i opened the file. She came in and shut the door.

She walked behind me and looked at the file with me. I secretly rolled my eyes as she still hadn't said a word to me.

"Hey Yn ." I sarcastically.

"Hey Keith." She said blandly.

This was gonna be the longest case of my life.
