i started to smile from the morning as i stood at my locker and waited for her to come by.

her and lisa came giggling down the hallway as i looked straight ahead . if i chose to date her , it would be the first girl since my pops died .

"keith, wassup bro." i heard a small voice greet me . i looked down to see her small , cute face. i held back a laugh as she folded her lips in and looked down in embarrassment.

"wassup yn." i took a deep breath and finally answered her horrible attempt to talk to me.

"soooo , tonight , i was gonna go to a drive in movie with lisa and her boyfriend. i was just wondering if you'd like to come with us." she said using her thumb to point to lisa at her locker . lisa glanced over and slightly wiggled her fingers at her .

i gave an exasperated sigh as she slowly started to frown and i panicked from the inside.

"or not .. ya know really i'm good with being on the phone too if that's what you wanna do-"

"no stop , i didn't mean it like that . i'll go. i'll just have to check with my brother, and he's not a big fan of me going out." i mumbled. a few stares came in our direction as she started to smile again , this time her cheeks turning a baby pink.

"okay , i'll pick you up at 8. if you can go." she chipped as i nodded slightly and turned my attention back to the wall behind her . she slowly walked away as i silently cursed myself for not getting a hug.

later that night..

it was about 7:30 and i wasn't even ready to leave my room. i smoked the last of my blunt and rolled over to see Yn had texted me .

i looked down at myself and responded to her message .

my corner of my mouth turned up as my body started to tingle. i missed this feeling. the feeling of being wanted and loved on .

but i've learned my lesson about putting trust in a female.

i slowly sat up and slugged my self over to my dresser as i opened it and looked at the many amounts of shirts i had and picked a black one and placed it on my body.

i bent down and picked up a pair of blue jeans i wore yesterday and pulled them on. i slipped on my black forces and grabbed a black hoodie slipping it on. i grabbed my phone and charger as i heard a car pull up into my drive way.

i walked down my stairs as she softly knocked on the door . i reached the door as i opened it and she stood there in all of her cuteness. she smiled and looked up in my eyes.

"you ready ?" she asked with a hopeful tone. i nodded slightly as i turned off the foyer light and grabbed my keys out of the bowl and walked out. she walked to her car and unlocked the doors .

i walked over to her jeep as i opened the passenger side and got in , putting on my seatbelt.

she got in and did the same as she started the car.

"so what movie we going to see ?"

"uh , some old movie." she said and shrugged. i looked in the back seat to see a few blankets and a picnic basket. i turned forward to see her pulling up to this big ole lawn in a free spot. she parked the car and rolled down the window to see the friend from earlier waving eagerly and some random dude.

i nodded and waved at the both of them. yn soon got out the car to hug lisa as i set the chair back some more and placed my arm over my eyes.

"hey , you tired ?"she asked as she climbed back in. i lifted my arm and shook my head.

"just letting my high wear off."

"oh , you smoke?"

"yeah but-"

"cool .. me too."

"word? i knew it smelled like kush in here." i said as we both laughed a little. the laughter stopped as we kept our gaze on one another.

i looked away as she did too. she cleared her throat as i let some air through my nose. i cursed myself mentally for being so awkward.

"so uh .. backseat?" she asked as i choked on my spit in surprise. i started coughing as she patted my back and looked at me with worry.

"oh my god are you okay?" she asked as i kept cough. i cleared my throat as i patted my chest a few times.

"yeah you just caught me off gaurd.. i didn't think you were like that-"

"like what? a hoe ? boy no, i meant backseat as in let's watch the movie from back there." she explained and suddenly i felt dumb and felt my face get hot.

"oh m-my bad. i didn't mean to- i'm so sorry i-i just didn't know what you meant and-" suddenly i was cut off by her lips connecting with mine. she slowly pulled away as opened my eyes .

i suddenly felt relaxed and calm. i also felt my pants get tight as she looked down and giggled a little.

"seems like i'm not the only virgin here." she said as i turned to see her staring at me with a slight smile. i slowly felt myself begin to smile as i started to laugh a little.

"yeah um.. i'm not really interested in giving a girl my all just yet."

"what about me , do i make you interested?" she said as she placed her chin in her hand.

"in giving you my body ?"

"no , just in general."

"mm yeah. but then again i've never been interested in a girl before so .. i don't know."

"okay , don't worry keith powers. i'm gonna make you fall in love with me." she said confidently.

i snickered at her confidence and looked back up at her.

"oh yeah ?"

"hell yeah."
