i walked through the halls giggling with my my friend lisa as we walked past a tall figure standing against the locker as i felt my eyes start to wander.

"ugh , keith is so fine." i said as i stopped at her locker .

"girl , honestly, we have no chance. keith is so reserved. i have never seen him have a girlfriend like ever ."

"maybe he needs a little push. i've noticed that when the hallways clear , he stays here ."

"okay ?"

"i'm gonna go talk to him."

"well girl good luck." lisa grumbled and closed her locker as the bell rung as people started to scurry to class .

the hallways cleared up as i slowly walked over to him and looked up . his beautiful brown eyes were hooded by the black hoodie he always wore.

"um.. hi." i said as i gave a smile.

he nodded his head as his eyes stayed straight ahead.

"um. i'm Yn and this is my number and you should call me sometime." i said as i ripped a piece of paper and quickly scribbled my number down.

he pulled his hand out if his pocket and opened it as i placed it there and he closed his hand and placed it back in his pocket.

"well , um okay. i'll.. see you later." i said as i walked to my next class .

later on that night..

"girl he said not one word!"

"see , i told you yn. he's weird."

"girl i gave him my number , but i don't even think he's gonna use it-" i said as i stopped and seen an unknown number sent a message.

"girl get on the phone with yo boo , imma go see what mine up to and he better not be on that damn game." lisa grumbled and hung up after our good byes. i changed his contact as another message came through.

my heart lowkey dropped as i sprung outta bed , damn near falling on the floor as i fixed my hair and eyebrows and made sure my eyelash extensions looked good.

i turned my strip lights onto blue as i replied and called him.

his face popped up as i became astounded. he was so fine.

"wassup babygirl."

"um hey keith."

"so what is it that you want ?"

"um.. you."

"babygirl , im flattered but i don't necessarily do relationships."

"i'm not asking for a relationship right now.. but maybe you could i don't know.. come with me on saturday to that new ice cream parlor ?"

"mm , no can do. i got something to do that day."

"like what ?"

"mind my business." he mumbled. i sighed and looked as his face as he stared at something straight ahead .

"you staring at me because ?"

"i'm trying to read you , i think it's working." i said and narrowed my eyes more .

a small smile came to his lips as i gasped and looked at him .

"uh oh ! did i get the infamous keith powers to smile."

"no." he said as his smile dropped .

"i think i did ." i smiled and set my phone up on my night stand and plugged it into my charger. he stared straight ahead as i snuggled into bed and turned my face toward him.

my eyes slowly closed as i remember him glancing over at me every once and a while.

the next morning..

i woke up to see Keith's eyes on me as i yawned and checked the time.

"did you watch me all night?" i asked as i yawned and stretched.

"no i was sleep , and then your whimpering had woke me up."

"i was whimpering ?"

"kinda like a wild dog actually." he shrugged. i slumped my shoulders in embarrassment as i heard a soft chuckle .

i quickly lifted my head and smirked a bit.

"ooooh , did i just make the infamous keith powers laugh ?" i teased as he shook his head.

"no you didn't. i was laughing at something else."

"well.. i don't hear the TV and unless there's a comedian in your room, i think i just made you laugh." i giggled . he shook his head once more.

"whatever , go brush your teeth and get ready for school , i'll see you at school."

"okay . later keith."

"later Yn." he said as the phone call disconnected. i smiled to myself as a text came through.

i giggled as i walked into the bathroom and started to get ready for school.
