What? I'm freaking out.

"We know Luke, everything is going to be okay," my mother spoke kissing my forehead.

"I wanna leave. I can't sit here knowing that he's out," I spoke sadly and tiredly.

"Get rest, we'll figure out something," Ashton told me as they slowly left the room.

By the time my brother Jack shut the door, I was out.

I woke up and Emma was in my arms, playing with my hospital bracelets.

"Hi baby," I whispered, my voice still wrapped in sleep.

"Hi daddy," she spoke as she kissed my cheek.

"How was your day?" I asked her.

"It was okay. Uncle Harry and Uncle Zayn took me and got me ice cream and we went shopping. But I missed you lots," she asked as she looked down at the dog that I got back for her birthday.

"I missed you too," I told her as I kissed her head.

"Daddy a package came in today and Uncle Niall said that it has your name on it," she spoke to me.

"Get it for me babe," I told her quietly as I saw it in the chair.

She got up and handed it to me, then laid back in my arms.

I opened the package with a butter knife they left from my plate of food that I won't eat.

I look inside and I remember what it is. It's a sound machine that makes rain noises. At the same time as it makes rain sounds, it plays music. I found the acoustic version of our music, One Direction's music, The Vamps music, along with Shawn Mendes and Austin Mahone.

"Look daddy it has your name on it!" she spoke happily as I turned it on.

It was making rain sounds in the background as background music to the acoustic version of 18. On the screen that had the band title, name of song, and album title it said;

Uncle Ashton, Uncle Michael, Uncle Calum, and Daddy.

"I'm going to use it forever!" she spoke happily as she smiled at me.

I kissed met cheek and hugged with with my free arm.

"You're going to stay with Grandma and Grandaddy tonight, okay?" I told her as she shook her head.

"I'm staying with you," she spoke to me.

"Daddy has some tests being done tonight. So you're going to have to stay with them," I told her as she sadly nodded.

"I just wanna cuddle with you again daddy," she spoke as a tear rolled down her cheek.

"Don't cry baby girl. When I get out of here we'll cuddle for hours okay? Daddy won't let you go," I spoke as her as I wiped her tears away.

"Okay," she nodded towards me as my parents walked in.

They left with Emma and she cuddled the dog to her chest as she looked at me from my dad's shoulder. I don't want her to leave, but I don't want her taken from me. It's the only way she's safe from here.

"Luke, it's okay," Calum spoke as he walked in.

"I know," I spoke as I rubbed my eyes.

"She's safe and you're going to be too. Doctor said he's coming in later to talk to us," Michael told me as everyone else came in.

"Thank you, for watching Emma for me," I told the five boys standing in front of me.

"Anytime, you know she's safe with us," Harry told me.

"Yeah mate, she's like my own. We'd do anything for her," Zayn spoke.

"Mr. Hemmings," the doctor spoke as he walked in.

"Seems you have been recovering well. Faster than what all of us thought, to be honest with you. Since you're recovering fast, you get to leave in the morning. If someone will come sign his release forms," he spoke as I smiled.

Calum and Ashton followed the doctor as once the door closed I sighed in relief.

"Congrats mate. We've go to run because if we're late tomorrow for rehearsal then Paul will kick our ass," Louis laughed.

They left and Michael and I smiled.

"We get to leave tomorrow."

I walk into the hotel room and picked up Emma, her not budging one bit.

"Ready?" Ashton asked as he grabbed her stuff.

I nodded, hugging my family goodbye.

"See you soon," I told them as they got in their rental car and headed towards the airport.

We loaded on the tour bus so we could head to our next destination; Nashville, Tennessee.

We loaded the bus and I got to my bunk. I laid both of us down and covered us up.

"I love you Emma," I spoke to her and I kissed her cheek.

I get to cuddle her for four and a half hours, and I'm not going to stop.
