Today, we're finally going to the beach. Thank god, I've been waiting for this. I rose from my bed and went downstairs, seeing everyone is awake.

"Beach day!" I exclaimed as they cheered.

"Go get ready, I want food," Calum complained.

I went upstairs and got dressed, just slipping on a black shirt on and my swim trunks, of course.

I woke Emma up and put on her bathing suit. I grabbed towels and other necessary items and went back downstairs so we could load up in cars.

I drove one car, it containing Ashton, Michael, Calum, and Emma. The other held the other five idiots. We stopped and got food.

"You alright?" I asked Ashton as I glanced over at him.

"Yeah, I'm okay. Still a bit woozy from that damn medicine they gave me yesterday. Thanks, though. For that talk you gave me," he spoke.

"I just never thought I would catch you doing something like that again. Mostly because of last time," I told him.

"I know. I never thought I would do it again since then," he spoke quietly.

We soon arrived at the beach and we unloaded both cars. We all set our bags down in a row and laid out towels. I put sunscreen on Emma and we took off our shirts as she grabbed her floaties. I slid them on both arms and held her hand as we walked in the water. Emma flinched at first, but she gladly walked in. Zayn stayed behind on the sand.

"Emma, sweetheart you ready?" I asked as I turned to look at her.

She was dead asleep. I smiled, gathering our stuff and we all piled up in cars. Harry said that they would stop for pizza. We drove home and Michael just held Emma in the backseat. He didn't feel like putting her in the car seat.

I pulled in the driveway and Michael had fallen asleep too, along with Calum.

"You just get Emma, I can get them," Ashton whispered.

I nodded, carefully taking Emma from Michael's embrace. I carried Emma inside, changing her out of her bathing suit and woke her up. She started crying.

"I cold," she cried.

"Shh, let me give you a bath," I told her as she calmed down.

I gave her a warm bath and dressed her in her pyjamas.

"Uncle Michael," she mumbled as I held her.

She was gripping my t-shirt and sweating. She fell asleep as I was getting her dressed.

"Emma," I sung as I rubbed her back.

"Daddy help him!" she screamed out.

"Michael!" I screamed.

He came running in.

"Cold cloth," I told him as she began shaking.

He wet a cloth with cold water and tossed it to me. I immediately placed it on her forehead and she stopped shaking. Her eyes open and she latches onto me.

"Monster got Uncle Michael," she whispered shakily.

"Sweetie I'm right here," he spoke.

She looked up and went to his arms.

"I'm going to bed. Mind if she comes with?" he asked.

I shook my head, "Not at all. Just listen for her."

He nodded and took her to his room and they went to bed, while the rest of us ate then fell asleep in the living room.
