Last night when I arrived at the hospital, it wasn't really looking well for my brother Ben. It still isn't, but there is a chance. Dear god, this can't be happening to me.

I didn't sleep either. I left the hospital around 7:30 so Emma didn't have to stay at Paris's too long. I appreciate what Paris did. She's a lovely girl.

Ashton and Calum and Michael came and spent the night, and they're staying for a while. The One Direction guys are supposed to come for a visit tomorrow, but I don't know if I can handle it.

It's now 9 in the morning and everyone is dead asleep. I wish I had slept, but I can't even think about that right now. A dumbass drunk driver about killed my brother and is still out there. I wish I could find the bastard and beat the shit out of him.

I change into a hoodie and some black skinny jeans and my VANS. I run downstairs, seeing a Ashton and Calum sitting in the kitchen when I walked in to get my keys.

"Luke, did you sleep?" Cal asked in shock as he looked at the bags under my eyes.

"No," I answered quickly as I grabbed my keys.

"Wait," Ashton called quietly as I heard him run to the living room.

"You need to at least shower. We know you haven't because your hair is flopped over," he spoke.

"I-I can't Ashton. He can't leave. I have to go, I-I don't care what I look like," I stuttered.

"Luke, please. At least shower or take a nap or something. We'll go check on him if you want us to while you do those things. I haven't seen you look this bad since Emma's hospital trip," he pleaded.

"Are you even feeling okay?" Calum asked walking in.

"Why?" I asked him as he walked up with a thermometer I bought for Em.

"Put this in your mouth," he spoke as I rolled my eyes and put it under my tongue.

It beeped about a minute later and I sighed at what the numbers read; 101.5.

"You're staying here," Ashton spoke looking at the small, red numbers.

"No I'm not," i argued.

"Luke, you are fucking sick! Get your ass in bed. I'll call your mom and we'll go down to visit Ben okay?" Calum spoke.

I put my hands up in surrender and sighed, "Fine, you win."

I put my keys back in the kitchen and went back to my room and shut my door. I just want to know if he's okay.

"Uncle Michael, when will daddy wake up?"

"He'll be up soon baby, don't worry. Daddy's sick right now, let's leave him be."

"Michael," I groaned as I heard him open the door.

"Emma, go downstairs with Uncle Ash okay? I'll be there in a sec," he spoke as she nodded and went to Ashton.

He came in and sat on my bed.

"How's Ben?" I asked opening my eyes.

"He's fine. He woke up, he'll be okay. Just some broken ribs and a broken arm, along with a major concussion. Ashton and Calum went to check on him, like they said they would," he informed me.

"Thank god. I have to go," I said as I sat up, but I winced in pain.

"Lay back down, what hurts?" He spoke slightly panicked.

"Everything Michael," i whined.

He went to my bathroom and came back with Advil in his hands.

"Take this with my water," he spoke as he grabbed his water from my nightstand. How'd that get there?

"Please Michael, let me go," i spoke.

"I don't know, you don't look that well," he sighed.

"Then come with me. Give me an hour with him, that's all I want right now. I just have to see if he is okay. I need to talk to my big brother," I spoke.

"Alright, an hour is it. You don't need to get worse," he spoke.

I rose from the bed and just put on shoes. I just kept what I had on earlier on, that's how bad I feel.

Ashton and Calum let me go, but agreed I only needed to stay for a short amount of time. And they're right, I don't need to get anyone ill. I'm not throwing up, just body pains and a fever. I've probably got that bug that's going around. Jack had it a few weeks back.

When we arrived, my mom greeted me when we reached Ben's door. She about made me leave, but then Michael stepped in and said that he tried and that she shouldn't, it wasn't going to change my mind.

His wife, Jack, and my dad went to get food and wouldn't be back for a while.

I sat in the chair next to his bed and Michael stood behind me. He looked over and a small smile grew on his slightly beaten face.

"Hey Luke," he spoke tiredly.

"God, you had me worried Ben," I sighed, "I thought you weren't going to make it."

"You can't get rid of your big brother that easily. I know I'm an ass, but I'm not leaving now," he joked as I laughed quietly.

"Luke, you look like shit," he told me.

"Awe thanks Ben," I joked.

"I'm being serious. C'mere," he spoke as I leaned in as he hand raised to my forehead.

"You're burning up. Michael, dude, why'd you let him come?" He said with a small smile.

"I tried getting him to stay home. He said he at least needed an hour," he said.

"You were that worried?"

"Well yeah. Ben, you're my oldest big brother. I don't know what I would do if I lost you and I wasn't here to say goodbye."

"Now that you've seen me and it's been maybe twenty minutes, please go home. Im okay, now you need to get okay. We'll see each other soon. Tell Emma I love her. Ashton and Cal brought her earlier but I was dead asleep."

"Fine, I'll go. I'll tell her, I love you Ben," I spoke as I slowly got up.

"I love you too Luke. Take care of him Mikey," Ben spoke.

"I'll try," Michael smiled as we left.

My mom hugged me and wished that I got better. Michael got me to the car and we drove home.

We go inside and Ashton and Emma were asleep on the couch. It was raining now. It started when we left the hospital.

Calum came from the kitchen and talked to me for a minute, then I went back to my room to sleep. Hopefully I'll be okay tomorrow. It's been a week since I've seen the other guys. I miss them so much.
