I slept the whole way to Raleigh, North Carolina. (sorry I forgot to put that in the last chapter!) I felt better tired wise, but my whole body still ached. We got in an hour ago and we've just now got settled in our hotel room.

"Emma, babe," I spoke shaking her.

"What?" she spoke.

"You need to eat," I whispered.

She sat up and looked at me with sad eyes.

"I'm not hungry," she spoke.

"At least drink a milkshake, okay? You have to have eaten something so you can take your medicine. I guess that's good enough," I sighed as I went and grabbed my phone.

"Hello?"
"Calum, do you have the rental car keys?"
"I may. And why do you need them?"
"It's for Emma. I was gonna go down the street and get her a milkshake."
"I'll do it. Vanilla, right?"
"Yeah, thanks Cal."

I hung up and turned to her. She was laid back down, almost falling out of bed. I laughed to myself as I walked over and picked her up. We went into the living area and I turned on a movie. A knock at the door brought me from my thoughts and I rose from my seat, setting Emma on the couch. I open the door and saw Calum, standing there with food and milshakes.

"Thanks man," I smiled as he handed me food.

"Someone seems to be happy," he joked as he stepped inside.

I shut the door and set the food down.

"Nah, just starting to feel better," I spoke.

Emma sat in Cal's lap for a while, but then he left to shower and get ready for the concert tomorrow. I looked at her and she didn't look much better.

"Are you hungry?" I asked picking her up.

She shook her head and I sighed. I gave her a quick shower and changed her, setting her in bed. I quickly did the same. I laid down next to her and grabbed my laptop.

"Can we watch Monster High?" she whispered.

Monster High is this cartoon for little girls like Barbie.

"Yes, of course angel," I spoke as I put the disc in and turned it on.

"Thanks daddy, she whispered as she cuddled into my side and watched the movie.
