Ashton woke me up by jumping on the bed.
"Cut your shit out Ashton," I mumbled as I hit his leg with one arm and held Emma close to me with the other.
"I guess you don't wanna go home for Christmas then," he spoke as he fell on the bed.
I had totally forgotten that it was Christmas time. It doesn't even feel like it. Good thing I bought stuff before we left.
"We were already going home," I mumbled.
"Not for three weeks we weren't," he spoke.
I sat up, "What do you mean three weeks?"
"The place in Minnesota was broken in to. The place is messed up. They're going to fix it over Christmas and we got an extra week for Christmas," he explained.
(I hope you guys don't get mad. I am making it around the same time as it is now. It'll help me a lot!)
"So we'll start back in Minnesota?" I asked
He nodded and I smiled.
I get to see my family quicker. I get to go home.
"We leave for the airport in an hour. So get up," he spoke.
I left Ashton to cuddle with Emma and I showered. When I got out, Emma was shaking and Ashton was holding her.
He looked at me and mouthed, "Nightmare."
I sighed and ran my fingers through my wet hair. I need to take her to a therapist. The doctor said it wouldn't be good to start her with one until we were home for a long period of time. So I can't over our Christmas break. Shit.
When she saw me bend down to her height from Ashton's shoulder she put a hand over her eyes.
"Hey, what's wrong?" I whispered to her.
She wouldn't talk to me. Did I do something?
"Luke, c'mere for a moment," Michael spoke from the doorway.
I sighed and left them. I shut the door behind me and sighed, looking at Michael and Calum before me.
"What?" I asked.
"We were told to tell you why Emma won't talk or look at you," Calum started.
"Her nightmare was different this time, Luke. It was about you. You hit her and burned her in her nightmare," Michael told me.
"But I wouldn't do that. She knows that, right?" I spoke.
They looked at each other and then they returned their glares to me.
"We don't know."
My heart shattered. Damn it.
"I love her. She's been with me for like 7 months. I wouldn't do anything," I spoke.
"We know, but it must've seemed realistic to her, Luke," Calum spoke.
Ashton came from the room and shut the door
"Go talk to her. Now," he spoke.
I left the three boys and went to my room and opened the door, leaving it cracked behind me.
She was sat on the bed, looking down at her stuffed dog and her blanket.
"Em," I spoke as she looked up at me.
She had been crying and it breaks my heart.
"Can you come hug daddy?" I asked her softly as I walked towards her.
She jumped from the bed and I caught her in my arms. I had one of my hands under her bum and one on the back of her head.
"You know daddy won't do anything to hurt you, right?" I whispered as she nodded.
"I'm sorry," she spoke.
I kissed her forehead and she squeezed me tighter.
"I love you baby girl," I spoke as I ran my fingers through her hair.
"I love you too daddy," she spoke back.
I walk out of the room, using my foot to open the cracked door. The boys looked over at us and sighed in relief.
"I'll get your stuff, don't let her go," Calum spoke as he went to my room.
"Our stuff is already downstairs," Ashton spoke as he grabbed the stuffed dog and blanket from Calum.
He covered up Emma's sleeping body with the blanket and I put my hands on the outside of it, so it won't fall off.
Ashton put the dog in her backpack, so we won't loose it.
Calum had two bags on his shoulder, one on each shoulder. He also had a suitcase in each hand, him probably mentally thanking god that he could roll them.
I smiled at the sight and thanked him quietly.
Michael, being the slow ass he is, shut the door behind us as we left for the airport, where we got to go home early.

I sighed as I hugged Calum goodbye. I won't see these lads until we meet in Minnesota in three weeks. We're spending Christmas with family.
"I love you guys," I spoke.
"Love you too."
"Love you Luke."
"Love you bitch."
I laughed at Michaels last comment and got in my car. Emma was in the backseat, looking out the window at her uncles.
She waved bye as I drove past their cars, each of them either waving back or blowing her a kiss.
I drove to our new house. We sold the house we lived in together the first week of tour and had movers and our parents get our things and unpack them in our new houses. We'll be living separately.
The house Emma and I will be living in is an hour from my parents. At least it isn't a three hour drive this time.
I pulled in the driveway and looked back at her, she looked confused.
"Daddy, this isn't our house," she told me.
"Yeah it is sweetie. We moved from our other house. It's just you and me now, okay?"
She just sighed and nodded.
I got her out of the car and took her inside. She gasped as she ran all over the first floor.
I got our stuff from the car and brought it inside.
"Em!" I called as she ran to me.
"Do you wanna see your room?" I asked her.
She nodded and I took her upstairs and had her stuff in my arms.
"Here," I spoke as she stopped in front of the door.
I opened it and she walked in and gasped in her small voice.
I set her stuff down and she looked back at me.
"I love it," she said as she hugged me.
"I'm glad, but it's late. You should go to sleep," I spoke as she yawned.
I carried her to her bed and laid her down after I changed her into one of my shirts. It was the one I had on, she wanted the shirt I was wearing. I don't even know why.
I covered her up and gave her her blanket and dog. I kissed her head and wished her a good night.
"I love you baby," I spoke.
"I love you too daddy," she whispered as I shut the door and went to bed myself.
