They released Emma from the hospital this morning and we're now heading back to the hotel. Emma is currently asleep in my arms. She didn't want me to rehook her car seat back in after yesterday. She's dead asleep and I almost am too. I didn't sleep good last night. I may have slept 30 minutes total.

"Luke, go to sleep. It's alright," Michael spoke as he glanced at me from the front.

"Oh, I'm fine," I told him as I looked out the window.

We arrived at the hotel and we went inside. I laid Emma down and shut the door, going back to into the living area.

"Luke, go to sleep. If she wakes up we'll get her," Ashton said.

"I'm fine. I swear," I told them as they sighed and turned on a movie.

"Luke, if you don't get your ass in that bed I'll drag you there myself," Calum spoke as I looked at him.

"I won't be able to hear her when she gets up," I yawned.

"I'll take her. Go," Calum spoke as I got up.

"She'll just stay with me until morning since we have to go to the arena," he spoke as I nodded. He grabbed her a few things then he picked her up and they left.

"Hey, we're leaving too," Michael said.

"He forgot her medicine," I spoke as I grabbed it and tried leaving.

"I'll take it, get rest. We'll call later," Ashton said as I nodded.

~

"Get the door open."

"He alright?"

"We don't know. He won't answer our calls."

I looked at my phone and saw many missed calls from the boys. I sighed, as I threw my phone across the room and closed my eyes once more. I heard the door slam open and the door to my room open as well.

"Luke," Michael said shaking me.

"What?" I groaned.

"What the hell! Why didn't you answer," he exclaimed as he sighed in relief.

I pointed to my phone and he hit my back.

"You scared the shit out of me."

"How long was I out?" I asked still quite tired.

"All day basically. We left around 10 and it's midnight now. So 14 hours mate," he spoke.

"He doesn't look well you guys," Calum spoke.

"Are you feeling well?" Ashton asked.

I shook my head and groaned.

"I feel like complete shit," I commented, "How's Emma?"

"She's fine, don't worry about her," Calum said.

"I'm sorry you guys," I mumbled.

"Hey, it's okay. Don't stress it. We'll check on you in the morning, alright?" Ashton said.

"Okay," I whispered as I fell back asleep.

~

"Luke, I hate to wake you. But we have to go."

"Luke, wake up."

"C'mon. I know you're ill, but we really are late."

I opened my eyes and saw Paul, One Direction's manager, beside me shaking me awake.

"What time is it?" I asked.

"It's 9. The boys are already there," he said.

"I really don't feel well," I complained.

"Anything hurt?" he asked standing up and grabbing his phone.

"Everything except for my head and throat," I told him.

"I think it's a virus. Do you think you can make it tonight? It's the only night we perform and we leave the day after tomorrow. So Wednesday,."

I nodded my head slowly, "I'm so tired though Paul."

"I know kid, I know. Just get through rehearsal and then you can sleep until you guys go on. Sound good?"

I could only nod and roll over. I slowly rose from my hotel bed and changed into a fresh pair of sweatpants and a hoodie.

Paul drove me in his car to MSG, which I fell asleep in the car. But once I heard Ashton talking to Paul in the car I woke up.

"C'mon," Ashton said as we got out of the car and inside.

Emma saw me from Calum's lap and came to me. I picked her up and held her to me.

"Hey baby. How do you feel?" I asked her.

Gosh, I feel like shit.

"Not good daddy. My stomach hurts all over," she whimpered as she leaned against me.

"I'm sorry. Daddy doesn't feel well either," I told her.

"We can be sick together daddy!" she exclaimed.

I smiled weakly, but then I had to leave for rehearsal.

~

Rehearsal went not good but not bad. My voice crackled only during 'She Looks So Perfect' and 'Voodoo Doll'. I walked backstage, feeling quite worse.

"Feeling any better?" Liam asked me handing Emma.

I shook my head, "Nope." My voice cracked so bad.

"Woah, you need to go lie down. That doesn't sound good," Louis spoke.

I nodded and took Emma to the other end of the arena where they have a hospitality room with beds. I laid down and cuddled Emma into my chest. We were both out of it after a few minutes.

~

My phone was going off like crazy. I looked down and Emma was still out. I grabbed it and slid my finger across the screen.

"Hello?"
"Luke! Where are you mate?"
"In a bed across the arena. I'll be there in a minute Ashton."
"Alright but after we're leaving, okay? You sound worse."
"I feel it too. See you in a minute."

I hung up and picked up Emma. I walked back and Harry spotted me halfway. He took Emma and walked with me.

"Does she have any medication?" Harry asked.

"Yeah, they prescribed her some antibiotics for her ribs. But that's about it," I told him as we approached everyone else.

We went on stage and I did the best I could. Once I walked off though, I literally felt like dying. Now my whole body aches in pain and I just want to cuddle Emma. She's not well either. Besides the wounds and broken ribs she was indeed running a fever, so we probably caught the same thing in that hospital bed.

Harry had passed her to me and I thanked him and already apologized if he got sick. Ashton and Michael and Calum decided that we all should return to the hotel. I'm sleeping all day tomorrow if they'll let me.

"Luke, are you hungry?" Calum asked glancing back at me.

I shook my head and he nodded. When I'm sick, I don't eat. And they know it. When we arrived I carried Emma to the hotel room with me since I don't want her to get the other three sick.

I laid down with Emma and I woke her up so she could take her medicine. She swallowed it down with juice Niall had given her at the arena. I grabbed my laptop from my side dresser and put in a movie. I don't know why though because we were both dead asleep by the time it began.
