SIXTEEN

My mouth along with my throat is now sore. I imagined that Jooheon was big but I didn't think he was that big.

I drink my warm tea ignoring the smirks and giggles Kihyun and Jooheon threw my way. I lean to the right resting my head on Minhyuk's shoulder.

Minhyuk: You should try this.
Me: What is it?
Minhyuk: Calamari.

I shrug my shoulders, trying new food wont hurt.

wonho's point of view

I eat my ramen not paying much attention to the conversation amongst my brothers. A quiet wheeze makes me look up from my meal. Santana has her hand around her throat practically gasping.

The wheezing gets louder grabbing the attention of all the boys.

She falls out of her chair and we panic.

Changkyun starts screaming at the restaurant staff to call the ambulance, Minhyuk and Hyungwon are on the ground next to her trying to keep her stable, Shownu is scrambling with his phone to call someone, while Kihyun is completely frozen.

Jooheon shakes my arm pulling me back into reality.

Jooheon: What do we do?

I have no idea.

Minhyuk frowns while I rub his shoulder.

Minhyuk: It's my fault she's here.
Me: It's no one's fault.

Changkyun scoffs.

Changkyun: It's Leroy's fault for not writing her allergies on the damn chart.

That's true but in his defense we didn't necessarily ask her about her allergens either. Come to mention it we haven't asked her much since we've known her.

The doctor comes out her room with a smile on his face.

Doctor: She's fine, just a mild allergic reaction. We gave her some medicine to ease the swelling of her throat, she's resting but you may see her.

We thank him and bow slightly before running into her room. She smiles once she sees us.

Minhyuk: Are you okay? I'm sorry!

She smiles.

Santana: I'm okay and it isn't your fault.
Changkyun: Why didn't you tell us you were allergic to squid?
Santana: Because I didn't know.
Changkyun: How didn't you know?
Santana: Because I never had squid before ding-bat!

A slight chuckle leaves my lips as the boy pouts.

Shownu: All that matters is you're okay now.

A knock at the door grabs our attention, a frown sketches across my face as I take one look at the boy.

Lee.

He looks at Santana and smiles.

Jooheon: Why are you here?
Changkyun: How did you know she was here?
Hyungwon: Are you stalking her?

The three boys surround him and he begins to shake his head frantically.

Lee: Nothing like that, I was at the same restaurant as you guys . I came here to make sure she was okay.
Changkyun: You see she's okay, you can leave now.

Santana sighs.

Santana: Leave him alone guys.

I raise an eyebrow.

Santana: Sorry about that.
Lee: It's fine. Are you sure you're okay though?
Santana: Yes don't worry.

She smiles at him and I frown.

Lee: Squid huh?
Santana: And it was actually pretty good.

They both chuckle and I fight the urge to hit him.

Minhyuk: Would ya' look at the time visiting hours are up.
Lee: But you guys are still here.
Hyungwon: We're Monsta-x, who are you?
Lee: I'm Park Lee.

Jooheon snickers.

Jooheon: You ever heard of him?
Hyungwon: Nope.
Changkyun: Must be a trainee.
Lee: I have a show here just like you guys.
Jooheon: Oooo, how special.
Shownu: Guys that's enough.

Santana sits up and we all move closer to her bed.

Santana: Can someone find out if it's okay for me to leave?
Kihyun: You should rest more.
Santana: I can rest more at the hotel.
Kihyun: But..-
Santana: Please Kihyun?

She shoots him a look that makes me want to squish her cheeks. He sighs before going to find her doctor.

He's whipped.

But as I look around and see the annoyed faces directed towards Lee, I can tell he isn't the only one who's whipped for her.
