Life is funny sometimes; when they say God works in mysterious ways, it's true. When I lost my parents I thought my life was over. In moments of weakness and despair they would often come to mind.

So for them I had to keep trying. Even if I didn't want to do it for myself I had to do it for them.

As I stand here with my graduation cap and gown on I can finally say I did it, I did it all for them.

My roommate Char bursts in the room out of breath and discombobulated. I raise an eyebrow as I take in her messy state.

Char: You won't believe who's here!
Me: Who?
Char: Monsta-x!

I smile.

Me: Really?
Char: Everyone is freaking out! Apparently they know someone at our college. What if it's a family member or a girlfriend? Plot twist, a wife!

I fiddle with the diamond ring on my finger before shaking my head.

Me: Let's go, I want to graduate on time!
Char: Aw, sick of college?
Me: Hell yeah. Aren't you?
Char: You've made these four years tolerable.

It's been four years since the last time I seen the boys. That morning at breakfast I decided I would finish the year off with them as promised, at the end I took the money to get myself and life together.

Sure I could've stayed with them and been spoiled all my life but that does nothing for me. I wanted to be my own person with my own career.

So I headed off to college for my bachelors in psychology. The day I left the boys gave me a ring, a promise ring. There's seven diamonds that make the shape of a heart, they made me promise to never forget them.

Their career skyrocketed so it was hard to keep in touch my first year of college. Soon emough things began to fall apart. There were so many arguments and misunderstandings.

The worse was when Hyungwon got into a relationship.

Seeing that in the blogs made my heart snap. I didn't think it would hurt me as much as it did but I was a mess for a whole month.

Its been a long eventful four years but once the dean called my name to collect my diploma nothing else mattered.

I can't help but feel embarrassed as seven, very loud voices yell and cheer. Char mouth falls open once she puts two and two together.

Char: You, them, they're here for you?

I nod slowly.

Char: How do you know them?
Me: We're all very good friends.

After the ceremony everyone meets up with their loved ones to congratulate them and cry.

Two strong arms wrap around me and I squeal once I'm lifted off the ground. Shownu grins at me and I practically fight back tears as I hug him.

Shownu: I missed you.
Changkyun: We all did.

I hug each one of them, Hyungwon mumbles a bunch of apologies.

Me: It's okay, she wasn't prettier than me anyways.

They all chuckle and I sigh.

I missed this, I missed them.

Walking through the doors of the mansion sent shivers up my spine, so many memories. Graduation decorations covered the dining room making me giggle. They went all out, as usual. We all begin to eat bringing back memories.

Precious memories.

Jooheon: Was college hard?
Me: At times I wanted to quit, but I knew the end result would be worth it.
Wonho: We're really proud of you.
Me: Thank you, I'm proud of you guys! You're on your way to becoming legends.

They all smile shyly and try to deny it.

Minhyuk: We got you a gift!

Changkyun hands me a black velvet box, they all smile.

Hyungwon: A graduation gift.

Inside the box was a golden heart locket. A smile spreads across my face until I open the locket. My heart becomes heavy and my eyes water.

Shownu: The picture you kept under your pillow, I seen it and took a picture of it with my phone.
Wonho: We took it and got it fitted to go inside the lock.

I look inside the locket and my parents smile up at me. Their smiles are bright and their eyes were full of light. I clutch the box to my chest before finally sobbing.

Changkyun hugs me, once I finally calm down he clips the necklace on me.

Me: I love it, thank you guys so much.

I look over at Hyungwon and smirk.

Me: Hyungwon?
Hyungwon: Yes?
Me: Was her sex better than mine?

He chokes on his champagne, while everyone else snickers.

Me: Was it?
Hyungwon: I didn't have sex with her.
Changkyun: Liar.

My eyes widen.

Me: Oh my gosh you really did!
Hyungwon: Once and it wasn't that good! The girl I loved was away at college.

I smile.

Hyungwon: Don't act like you didn't hookup with any guys these past four years.

It gets dead silent.

They all look at me while I shove food in my mouth refusing to look at them.

Me: Did anyone try the chicken? I thought the chicken was lovely.

They glare at me and I sit my fork down.

Me: Fine, it was one boy at a frat party.
Wonho: You partied?
Minhyuk: Of course she did it's college hyung.
Kihyun: We sent her there to study not party.
Changkyun: You sound like a mom.

I yelp as Shownu lifts me up and tosses me over his shoulder. The six boys follow behind.

We walk into my room and he tosses me on the bed. They begin to peel off their clothes and I gulp.

Shownu: No matter how much time passes you'll always belong to us. Seems like we'll have to remind you of that.

My eyes widen.

Me: Wait, wait, I didn't even unpack!
Jooheon: Unpack later.

They all smirk.

Wonho: Do you remember your safe word princess?

I nod.

Me: Monsta.

let me just say when i first started this story i didn't think so many people would enjoy it.
