(Sidney's POV)

And that I did. I got out of the shower, put my hair up in a messy bun, put some eye liner on, them started my way out the window. Then there was a knock on my door. I quick shut the window and jumped back on my bed.

"Come in," I yelled to who ever was at the door.

"Honey, can we talk?" it was my mother. Shoulda guessed.

"Uh, sure, come sit down," I said. She took a seat at the edge of my bed.

"You know he loves you right? I know he can be a little too hard sometimes, but he's only doing what he thinks is best for you. He might not always be right but at least he's trying," she told me and put he hand on my shoulder.

"You know me and dad were fine before you came back? I may have thought I wanted you here, but I was wrong. You ruined me and dads relationship," I told her. I don't want to sugar coat things any longer.

"If that's how you feel, I think I'm gonna go stay with Julianne for a couple night, so you and you dad can catch up," she said.

"Mom," I started.

"No it's fine, honey, I promise," she said and walked out and shut the door.

(Ian's POV)

"She's getting out of hand," I told Nina.

"Ian, she's growing up and you've got to let her. I think I'm gonna go see Jules for a little while, I'll be back in a week," she told me.

"Wait, Neens, why?" I asked.

"You and Sidney need some time together, to reconnect," she said, kissed my cheek and when to go pack her bag.

She was right. But wasn't she always? Maybe Sidney's been acting up because she feels out of place. It kills me to think that, but this will be good for our relationship.

So I walked upstairs, and knocked on Sidney's door.

"Can I come in?" I asked her.

"Sure, it's not like I'm busy doing anything," she said.

"Well, I just want to talk is that okay?" I asked her.

"Yup," she said.

"So your moms gonna go to Jules house for a couple days, is there anything you'd like to do together?" I asked her.

"I don't know. We could go to the movies or something," she said.

"Yeah, that would be fun, your moms almost done packing her bag, then she's gonna leave if you wanna say goodbye," I told her and stood up getting ready to leave.

"Dad?" she stopped me before I walked out.

"Yes?" I asked.

"I love you," she said.

"I love you too," I said and smiled. This could be the start of a new beginning for our family.
