(Ian's POV)

It was two am when Sidney started crying, Nina starts to get up to go grab her but I pat her leg.

"Don't worry, I got her," I tell Nina and get up. She's 19 months old now, and boy is she getting big.

I get up and grab her, but she doesn't wanna go back to sleep, she's up and ready to play, so after an hour of fighting her to go to bed, I give up and bring to the living room and have her watch tv, then I slowly fall asleep...

I woke up to Nina giving me small kisses planted upon my neck.

"Hey daddy," she tells me and giggles.

"Hi mommy," I say giving her another kiss.

"Come here baby!" I say and put out my arms for Sidney to come into. She sits in my lap.

"Hi baby!" Nina says.

"Daddy," she says and points to me.

"What sweetie?" Nina asks her.

"Daddy!" she yells and points at me.

"Yes! I'm dad! Can you say momma?" I ask her. Nina will be crushed if she doesn't.

"Daddy!" she said again then giggles.

"You little turd!" I yell then threw her down on the floor and tickled her. She loves being tickled. Then after that I set her on the floor and let her play.

"Neens, is something wrong?" I asked her.

"No I'm fine," she told me and watched Sidney play.

"Don't play that game with me, because I'm not playing it," I told her and smiled.

"I can't believe she said you're name first," Nina told me.

"Oh Neens, she's 19 months old," I told her.

"Well I'm going to work see you later," she said and kissed me goodbye.

"Bye baby girl," Nina told Sidney and kissed her forehead.

"Will you be back in time for dinner?" I asked her.

"I'm not sure yet, but I'll let you know," she said and smiled when I knew she wanted to cry.

"Oh Nina," I said and got up off the couch and gave her a hug. She didn't say and thing just hugged me back.

"I uh, really have to, uh go," she said and I nodded my head and watched her leave. Maybe it's a girl thing, but I don't know why she was so upset that Sidney said daddy first.

So then I decided to go to Mcdonalds for breakfast. I was hungry and did not want to cook. So I ordered three mcmuffins, and Sidney laughed at me.

"Daddy! Daddy!" her little voice sung out.

This was gonna be hard for Nina, because Sidney seems to love the word "daddy!" So I decided to call the women with the best advice, my mother. She picked up after two rings.

"Hello?" her voice rang.

"Hi mother," I said. We were now driving and Sidney fell asleep in the back seat.

"Oh Ian! How are things?" She asked me.

"That's actually what I called to talk to you about, mom," I told her.

"Oh?"

"Yeah, Sidney's first word, was, uh, daddy," I said.

"OMG! That's amazing Ian! I'm so happy for you!"

"Yeah, except Nina's not so happy about it."

"Ian, she 19 months old, she can't control it."

"I know, I know."

"You spend the most time with her anyways, so if anything it's Nina's fault," she said.

"Your right, mom, thanks," I said.

"You're welcome! I love you," she said.

"Love you too," I told her then hung up. I looked in the backseat only to see a sleeping Sidney, boy she was a cutie. I'm so lucky to have her.
