(Ian's POV)
I didn't know what to do. I begged her to speak to say a word. She sat there. It was hard to tell if she was even breathing. Her phone rang. She didn't even pick it up. She never missed a phone call, unless it was from me.
"Sidney, say something, anything. Give me a hint your still in there," I begged and looked into her eyes.
"I'm not okay," was what she said to me.
"I know. I don't expect you to be," I told her, and pulled her in for a hug.
"No. I'm broken. I need to go back to the hospital," Sidney told me.
"I think you should stay here, you need to take care of yourself," I told her.
"No, I need to make sure my best friend is okay. She is where she is because of me, dad, please," she asked. It was hard to turn her down. It was the most she's said in a long time.
"I'll talk to your mom," I said and walked out. I sat down on the couch and began to cry. It was hard on me too. Not just Sidney, or Nina. I was hurting too.
I walked back upstairs.
"Get ready. We can leave in 20 minutes," I told her. I walked downstairs. Why would someone do this to her? Why would someone do something like this to anyone? I just don't understand.
I walked upstairs and she was on her computer. One hand was one her mouth, and the other was scrolling. She was crying.
"Let me see your computer," I told her and she handed it right to her. The comments I saw on her Instagram broke me. I couldn't imagine what it was doing to her.
Lynsieee54: You're such a skank. I heard the reason that guy came there was because he had knocked her up and wanted her to "get rid of it"
Belle876: Wouldn't doubt it! @lynsieee54 I heard she'll take her clothes off for five bucks.
Jonnieboo: haha wouldn't doubt it! I go to school with her. I heard her parents hate her too. They just can't get rid of her. She always comes back. She probably asked that guy to shoot MICHELLE. Poor michelle.
And that wasn't even the worst of them. I just couldn't go on.
"Daddy," she cried out.
"What is it you wanna do. We can switch schools, go to the hospital, just tell me how I can make this better," I told her and then I was crying myself.
She came up to me and sat in my lap and just cried. I cried too. We cried together. This wasn't fair.
"Why me? Why is it me?" She asked.
"Oh baby, it's not you, there jealous. All of them," I told her.
"I'm scared, dad, I'm scared he will come back for me," she said.
"Baby that's not gonna happen," I told her.
"Even if it doesn't something just as bad has just happened," she told me.
She told me everything for beginning to start. I watched her the whole time, my brain stuck on each and every word. I could not believe it was true. Not my little girl. She was only 15.
