(Nina's POV)

I had just gotten to Jules house.

"Jules!" I screamed and ran up to her and jumped into her arms.

"I'm so glad you made it! I've missed you so much! Wanna go to a new bar tonight?" she asked me. I just smiled.

"Actually I can't," I said.

"What why? Did Ian tell you that you can't have any fun? Because I will kill him," Jules told me.

"Haha, actually, I'm pregnant! Again!" I told her.

"OMG! Congratulations!" she yelled and hugged me.

"Well defiantly no bars for you missy!
C'mon, lets go inside its cold out here," she told me and we walked inside.

"So, have you met anyone new?" I asked her curious.

"Nope," she said popping the p.

"I'm sure you will soon," I told her.

"I surely hope so!" she said. Then my phone started to ring. The caller ID said Ian. So I decided to answer.

"Hey babe, I made it okay I'm just here talking to Jules," I told him.

"Um, we need you here, you should come, uh we're in some trouble," he told me.

"Ian, what happened? Whats going on?" I asked him.

"Call me when you get into town," he said and hung up.

"Who was it?" Jules asked.

"Ian," I said.

"Oh?"

"I'm sorry, Jules, but I think I've got to go," I told her.

"What's wrong??" She asked worriedly.

"I'm not sure. But I'm finally becoming what I should have been all along," I told her.

"What's that?" she asked. I looked her in the eye.

"A mom."

**

(Ian's POV)

I went straight to the hospital. Sidney must be devastated. I drove as fast as I possibly could. But I don't think it was fast enough. . I sprinted into the hospital. I stopped when I saw her. She was sitting there, and staring at the wall. Then I realized what would I say to her? It's okay? Because I certainly didn't know that. She'll be okay? I didn't know that either. I sat down next to her and she didn't even flinch. Didn't look at me, and she was slightly crying.

"Oh baby! I'm so sorry this had to happen to you!" I told her. She was drenched in blood which was now starting to dry. You could not even notice herders had any other colors than blood red.

"It's my fault," she told me.

"Oh no, you didn't shoot her," I said and hugged her. She turned to me and began to cry into my shoulder.

"Oh daddy! It was so terrible! He grabbed me, and then he shot a women. Then he recognized me as 'Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder kid' dad, I shouldn't have gone out that night! I shoulda stayed home! I should have been a better daughter maybe thing could have been different!" she told me.

"Did you get checked out? Like did they check you to see if you need stitches or anything?" I asked. She shook her head.

"He didn't touch me," she said.

"Is there anyone here for michelle?" the nurse called out and me and sidney stood up.
