(Nina's POV)
Then I saw him. Hanging out with this girl Savannah who he claims is just a friend. But I was just a friend once too. I shut off my phone and decided to go wake up Sidney.

"Hi sweetie, good morning," I said.

"Thanks, but where's dad? He always brings me breakfast in bed," she said.

"Oh, we got into a fight last night and he went for a drive. If you come downstairs I'll make you a breakfast of your choice though," I told her.

"Sure that would be good," she said. And we walked down stairs. She wanted French toast though, of course. It's always been her favorite.

"I think I'm gonna call dad quick," she said and got up from the table.

(Sidney's POV)

"Dad?" I asked when it answered.

"Hi honey," he said.

"Where are you? It's my birthday, you are always here on my birthday," I said.

"Yes I know. I'm on my way. I'll be there soon," he said. I wonder what they got into a fight about.

(Ian's POV)

I need to talk to Nina. To get all the facts because who even knows if I know the full truth.

"Happy birthday sweetie!" I yell as I walk in the door.

"You are finally home," she said and smiles and gives me a huge hug.

"Yep. Do you mind if I talk to your mom for a second?" I asked her.

"Uh sure go ahead," Sidney said and went upstairs.

"Hey neen, I'm really sorry. I shouldn't have reacted that way and I should have talked to you about it. So I'm here to listen to you talk before I say or do anything I am going to regret," I said and sat down and looked at her.

"I'm glad you said that. Nothing happened. I never kissed him. Honestly he wants me back and he knew I would be with you so that is why he called. I wouldn't do anything to ruin this family. I now know what I have," she said and looked me in the eye. And I actually believed her. I got up from the table and went to the other side and gave her a hug.

"I believe you," I told her and kissed her head, "now what do you say we go show Sidney her birthday present?"

"I think that would be a great idea," she said.
