some people misinterpret the saying of leaving someone high and dry. i say it's based off of love. the feeling of love makes you high, the adrenaline rush and then endorphins are flowing through your blood. and let alone making love, that's head rushing. leaving someone high and dry means that you take all of those feelings away. i think maybe it should be leave me high and then dry. when you're high it's because of them and when you're dry it's because they're not there. so right now baby you're leaving me high and dry, don't take that love away from me right now. it's been hard enough before without it.
