Chapter Four - The wand maker

Adrian's POV

" I am so sorry, you know I have bumped into a lot of people today and I really don't mean to. You see I was just walking to get my new friend, well I think were friends. I just met her but she seems really cool. Oh and now I am rambling. Sorry you probably don't want my life details."

Adrian heard a high pitch voice when he turned around he saw a girl with midnight hair. He couldn't see her eyes as the were looking down.

" it's fine, I bumped into you so it my fault and not yours. So I am sorry."

When the girl looked up Adrian saw she had big blue bell eyes and her face was red like a tomato.

" um th-thank you"

Adrian smiled. He was happy that the girl didn't scream at him or ask him for autographs like girls usually do.

" nice to meet you.."

" oh um I am-

Before she could say her name she was cut off by her owl screeching. Adrian looked down to see what at and it was his cat. He was hissing back. And then some girl came running out of the shop and grab the girls hand and pulled her away. She looked at Adrian and simply waved.

Adrian walk away still thinking about the girl with the blue bell eyes. Until he came across a small little shop it was called " Fu's wand shop". It was the only thing he needed so he walked in.

When he walked in the shop it was empty. He looked around looking at all the different wands. He started thinking about what his mother had once told him
" the wand chooses the wizard" he would always ask her why and she would alway reply with " because everyone is different" but then Adrian was pulled back to reality when he heard a lot thud.

"Hello?"

" back here"

Adrian ran behind the desk and opened the back curtain. Inside he saw a small old man he had fallen. Adrian quickly helped the man up.

" sir are you okay"

" yes I am fine, thank you for helping me. I really needed it" the old man laughed at his joke while walking to the front desk.

Adrian walked right behind him . He walked around the frond desk so he was facing the man but he wasn't there. Adrian looked to his left and to his right.

" sir"

" down here, I need to find that stool of mine, ah there it is"

Then Adrian heard a long dragging sound and then the old man popped up.

" so what can I help you with today"

" um I would like to b-buy one of your wands"

" oh right, this is a wand shop"

The old man hopped off of his stool and headed to the back room.

" oo, nope... what about this one,.. nah, ah YES"

The old man came back with a blue box. The man handed the box to Adrian. When Adrian pulled the wand out it was a dark blue with a light blue tip.

" this wand has the scales of a snake in it."

" how do I now that it suits me"

" give it a good flick that will do the job"

Adrian twirled the wand and a bunch of shelf came crashing down

" that is definitely not it" and with that he headed back to the back room.

"Mmm.. nope, wait I wonder."

The old man shortly came back out with a green box. And he was going to handed to Adrian but he pulled back.

" with this wand comes great responsibility"

Adrian looked at the man confused, how could a wand be that dangerous. Adrian just shook his head in agreement. The old man handed Adrian the box. When he opened it he pulled out a plan black wand. Though it was beautiful. On the end of the wand the back came off the side and looped around, it looked like a yin and yang symbol but it was missing its other piece.

" well give it a flick"

Adrian waves the wand around and a gust of wind blew. The old man had a grin on his face.

"The wand is made with the hair of a black cat"

" cool, uh I mean very interesting"

The old ma laughed. He put the wand back in the box and then Adrian payed the man. Adrian turned around to leave and when he did the old man winked and him

" hey Adrian be careful with that wand who knows what will happen if it gets in the wrong hands"

Adrian froze for a second he never told the man his name. Adrian was also confused as to why this wand was so dangerous. It was a simple black wand..... Right??
