Chapter 8 - Keep meeting like this

Adrian's POV

Adrian was sitting next to Chloé. He could smell the overwhelming stench of her perfume. He had to hold his breath the smell was so over baring.

" so....are you guys excited for school" said nino who was trying to break the silence.

" yea-

" ugh no I hate school, my daddy is sending me here for no reason. I wanted to stay home and shop. But no daddy said I had to go because it was some legacy"

Everyone sat there in total disbelief especially Adrian ' how could anyone not be excited to go to Hogwarts' Adrian thought

" what about you my Adrikans"

"Well-l I-I am-

Adrian was interrupted by a knock at the door

"Umm..hey could we sit here." Asked a girl with pink hair and a huge guy next to him

" yeah su-". Adrian was again intruded

" ugh NO. You poor common people who's families are a disgrace"

The two people quickly walked away not saying another word. Adrian could hear their whispers and Adrian felt horrible.

"Chloé wasn't that a little harsh"

"Adrikans I wasn't lying"

" Chloé seriously"

" whatever" Chloé turned in her seat

Time pasted very slow for Adrian but eventually he heard the ringing of the candy lady's cart.

" hey does anyone want some candy"

" no, way to many carbs"

" okay what about you nino"

" do they have jellybeans?"

" oh yeah, the jellybeans are really... interesting"

" Cool! I would like those then"

" what about you Sabrina"

" yeah I would tota-

" SABRINA!"

" sorry never mind" Sabrina looked down sadly

'Poor Sabrina' Adrian thought 'she just does what ever Chloé says' Adrian headed to the cart. He felt bad for Sabrina. He kept thing about how she always seem to obey Chloé's every word. It really bothered him but he couldn't do anything about it. Chloé was his only friend.

He finally made it to the cart. He had to get in a long line of kids. His thoughts kept drifting back towards Sabrina and those two people that wanted to sit the his box. He felt bad, no not just bad awful.

He was lost in thought when out of no where he was knocked out of it by a person falling on to him.

Marinette's POV

"Seriously you don't know what a house is" alya asked Marinette, in disbelief.

"No, I have no clue what the heck a Huffpuffy thing is"

"First of all its Hufflepuff, and second of all it a house. Basically it's your family at school. There's four Gryffindor, that's for people who are brave, then there's Ravenclaw, that house is for the smart people, next there's Hufflepuff, aka my personal favorite. That house is for happy people who are kind, and finally there's Slytherin. That's mostly for families that are legacies." Kim tried explaining

"Well that sounds fun"

" yeah they are unless you hate your house but that's never happened so" alya stated

*Ring,Ring*

"YES the candy cart" Kim jumped out of his seat

"Marinette you want to come get some candy with me"Alya asked Marinette

"Yeah"

Marinette and Alya head towards the lady. They where chatting. Then Alya bent down to tie her shoe. Marinette wasn't paying attention, so she then tripped over Alya barley missing her head and she ran straight in to a blonde headed person.

'Oh great, not again' when she looked up she thought she was going to find a blonde head girl with a high pitched voice, but instead she found a pair of two green eyes staring straight back at her.

"We keep meeting like this"

" yeah, I guess so" Marinette said a little coldly

" yeah" the guy rubbed his neck

There was an awkward silence for a second until Alya broke in

" Marinette are you okay"

" yeah yeah, this happens all the time"

" Good, well not good that you fell but good that your okay"

"Yeah, it's good that your okay." Adrian chimed in

" And why are you even talking to us. Aren't we some common folk to you, a disgrace to our families" Alya said with heat behind her words.

" no I didn't sa-

" we don't need to listen to this, come on Marinette I am not hungry any more"

Adrian POV

When Adrian looked down he saw the same girl that bumped into him that day at diagon alley. When she looked up she looked shocked. Her blue eyes stared back at his.

"We keep meeting like this" he said trying to break his gaze

" yeah, I guess so" her words were as cold as ice. It hurt him to hear the way she talked to him. Like she hated him. He didn't know why it hurt him, he didn't know her.

"Yeah" He said trying to break the silence

"Marinette are you okay"

So her name is Marinette. Pretty

" yeah yeah, this happens all the time"

" Good, well not good that you fell but good that your okay"

"Yeah, it's good that your okay." Adrian said looking at the midnight haired girl

" And why are you even talking to us. Aren't we some common folk to you a, disgrace to our families" the girl with the glasses said. Her words stung, those weren't his words those were Chloé's

" no I didn't sa-

" we don't need to listen to this, come on Marinette I am not hungry any more"

He didn't want to be blamed for Chloé's Actions. He didn't want Marinette to think he is that kind of person. He thought he had made a friend but Chloé ruined it.

He ran back to the box. This time he was going to confront Chloé not let her control him.
