Olivia slowly opened her eyes, taking a deep breath as the scent of roses filled the air. The bouquet of red roses right beside her bed were the first things she saw close to her already served breakfast and it planted a warm smile on her face as she reached for a rose. Olivia drew it close to her nose and took a deep breath. No wonder she smelt a lot of roses in her sleep.

Eleven A.M in the morning and she was just waking up. She passed her hand through her hair wondering just how long she was asleep for. She must have been so exhausted from the night before. She could still feel the throbbing pain between her thighs. She could remember everything. She was beginning to remember everything from the night before, every kiss, every touch. She could remember how her and Rafael had gone on and on the entire night and it drew a smile on her face. She felt so good. Really good. Better than she had ever been in a long while.

Speaking of which,

She turned to the other side of the bed expecting to see him there, lying next to her. The bed was empty. A frown spread across her face as she scanned the room in search of him. Had she been so deep in her sleep that she had not noticed him leave?

Olivia felt a tiny spark of electricity in her chest the moment she saw him standing there, shirtless, right in front of the window, with his left hand in his pocket and the right hand holding on to his cup of coffee close to his face. His entire attention was just outside. Olivia loved looking at him, who didn't? He had the most perfect body build she had ever seen. He was perfect in all areas and she loved how moderately thick his biceps were and how he always managed to keep a very good composure whenever he stood or sat or even laid down. She watched how the sun shone directly on the tattoo right behind his left shoulder, the tattoo of a wolf growling at a really angry eagle. He was just perfect.

Rafael drew a deep breath as he took another sip from his hot mug of coffee. He shook a little bit when he felt two warm arms, wrap themselves above his hips. A rose in one of them.

"Good morning." Olivia planted a soft kiss on his back. He had no idea she was awake already. A smile appeared on his face as he turned to the table beside him and dropped his mug on it, lowering his hands to hold hers as he turned to her.

The smile on Olivia's face brightened the moment his eyes stared into her brown eyes.

"Hey." He planted a soft kiss on her lips. "Good morning to you too." He rubbed her arms to keep her warm. "It looks like you had a good night's rest."

"Oh," Olivia inhaled . "I sure did." She placed the rose on her nose with a cheeky grin on her face. She sniffed it again. "Thank you for the roses. They're beautiful."

Rafael nodded. He hoped she knew she didn't have to thank him for it.

The silence was disheartening. For a second it was like they weren't sure of what to say to each other.

Olivia turned to the window.

"It's a beautiful day today."

Rafael drew a deep breath and turned to the window too. He knew for a fact that she was right. It was indeed a beautiful day especially since the sun kept shinning so brightly on the entire building. Olivia could see how the gardener was so busy mowing the beautiful green lawn, and the fountain was just so beautiful.

"It is." He slowly turned back to her, pulling himself closer to her. "And you know what else is beautiful this morning?" He pulled her into his arms, patting her head slowly.

"I know you're going to say me." Olivia rolled her eyes.

"I was actually going to say me, but now you said it,"
