Rafael opened the door slowly, peeping into the purple room with a huge picture of the powerpuff girls on the wall. He drew a deep breath the moment he saw them on the bed, sleeping peacefully. He could see Olivia sleeping in an uncomfortable position right beside Grace, holding her hand. It was almost obvious they had been waiting for him. They must have waited the whole night since he was just coming home at eleven PM.

Rafael took a step inside, limping slowly from all the bruises on his legs. He was lucky enough he hadn't really broken anything. Just some injuries here and there from all that beating. Everything that had happened earlier kept replaying in his head even as he walked closer to the bed, targeting the bed space right behind Olivia. He was so exhausted. So tired and he just needed to rest.

Olivia opened her eyes slowly the moment she felt a presence behind her, the moment she felt a sudden movement on the bed. She drew a deep breath and then sat up quickly the moment she smelt his cologne, but slowly enough to not wake Grace up. She turned to him as fast as she could.

Olivia gasped in surprise at the sight of him. He looked a mess. His torn lip was the first thing that caught her attention, followed by the bruises underneath his left eye, and scratches on his face. Luckily for him, there were no swells . His white shirt was stained with a lot of footprints and drops of blood and his fingers looked really battered. Olivia swallowed hard just as she tried to check for other injuries, wondering why he looked in that state.

"Rafael." She whispered his name, slowly making a move to reach for his hands. "W-What happened to you?" She slowly rose her head to meet his.

Rafael was staring at her for a long while, trying to hard to hide all that sadness he felt in his heart. He let out a tiny smile and then slowly reached for her arm. He pulled her close and then hugged her tight, as tight as he could before she could say anything else, startling her even the more.

Olivia tried to free herself. To pull herself from his hold. She knew looking into his eyes was the only way she could get him to talk to her but Rafael just pinned her back in his arms. Tears were beginning to well up in his eyes again.

"Just for a little while." He whispered to her, making sure she didn't have to hear the sadness in his voice or see the tears that were about to fall from his eyes. "Let's just be like this for a while longer."

"Rafael," she whispered, her voice was breaking but he didn't leave her. He didn't let her go. He tightened his grip on her, holding on to her as tight as he could until Olivia slowly gave in. She swallowed hard wrapping her arms around him too while he breathed into her hair, trying as hard as he could to not make a sound.

He inhaled sharply, trying to stop his bruised fingers from shaking so hard. Olivia could feel them. She could feel how frightened he was.

She let out a soft exhale. He let out an exhale too.

Olivia hurried into the room with some towels after a while, the loud sound of water, splattering on the ground from the shower got her whole attention.

She looked around with hopes to see him. He wasn't anywhere so she could only guess he was where the water sound was coming from. He was in the bathroom. Olivia slowly placed the towels on the bed, being as gentle and quiet as she could, then slowly finding her way to the humongous bathroom.

"Rafael?" She called his name with hopes that he answered as she turned slowly to the shower glass right beside her. Olivia drew a sharp breath as she glared at Rafael who just sat still under the shower, with his clothes and leather shoes still on. He looked so lost in his thoughts, so miserable. Olivia could see the mixture of his blood and water as it washed away from his body, draining itself. He was wet from head to toe and it was like he barely even noticed. Olivia could see how he had his hands on both his knees, his eyes glaring at his shoes. He was shaking.

"Rafael!" Olivia rose her voice just a little bit as she rushed into the shower too, in an attempt to get him back to his senses, totally forgetting to turn off the shower in the process. She bent over right in front of him. Rafael was breathing fast now. He was trembling from head to toe. "Rafael," she slapped him gently on his face, hoping he just returned to her. Hoping he came back to his senses. She could hear his breathing become louder as he started to gasp for air, puffing all the water away from his mouth.

Olivia got up quickly the moment she realized he was almost drowning. She hurried to the control and turned the shower off, causing Rafael to pant harder for breath.

"Rafael!" Olivia rushed back to him as fast as she could, getting a tight grip on him. "What's wrong? Why are you like this?" Rafael had a lot of tears in his eyes. It was like it was coming back. Like he was experiencing another Angina attack. Olivia was so frightened. She could feel her breath coming short too. She knew she needed to help him, she needed to get help. To get his drugs. She turned to leave right before Rafael grabbed her by her arm.

Olivia slowly turned back.

"D-ont go." It took him a lot of strength to say that, shaking his head to show his disapproval. Olivia could feel how his muscles tensed, his forehead wrinkling all of a sudden as he glared at her, holding on tight to her arm. He forced an exhale. The tears in his eyes now were much, too much for him to hold back. They were more than enough to cause Olivia's mind to go numb. She had never seen that side of him before. He looked so scared. Like he was going through some sort of pain.

"Rafael," she whispered his name again. That was the only thing her mind was letting her do. Rafael sniffed loudly.

"I'm sorry." He burst into tears. He could not help it anymore. He was crying as hard as he could. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm so so sorry."

Olivia sniffed. She was about to cry too. She had no idea what had come over them both.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry." Rafael repeated, his voice trembling. "I'm sorry. I'm really sorry. I'm sorry."

Olivia felt a drop of tear fall from her eyes without any reason why. She suddenly felt sadness well up inside her.

"Forgive me Olivia, please forgive me. Forgive me."

Olivia sniffed as hard as she could and then slowly leaned towards him. She was so sure now that whatever he was going through, that wasn't the time for him to talk about it. Not in the state he was in. She just wanted to hold him, to make him feel better.

"Forgive me, Forgive me." He sobbed louder, his voice echoing around the bathroom. Olivia pushed herself closer to him as another drop of tear fell from her face. She hugged him slowly as he rested his head on her chest.

"Forgive me." He was crying harder now. Like a baby. Trembling all over. "Forgive me."

"It's okay." Olivia sniffed, giving him all the comfort she could. "It's okay, you're fine now." Rafael held on tight to her as hard as he could, not daring to let go, clinging harder to her at every passing second, not even bothered by his wounds. Olivia let out a loud sob. She was crying hard too.

"It's okay."
She cleaned her face as fast as she could just so he didn't notice how sad she was as well, biting hard on her lower lip so she didn't make a sound.

"You're okay."
