Olivia glared at her phone for a while longer even as its screen was turned off. She couldn't stop herself from sighing uncontrollably as her thoughts clouded her mind. The wind caressed her skin and the serenity of the large pool from where she sat was just what she needed. It was the reason she chose that part of the house in the first place. She needed the peace and quiet. She needed some alone time. Time to think.

She had barely even notice Amy come out of the house through the glass side door, looking around like she was looking for her. Amy let out a sigh the moment she saw Olivia sitting right there, staring into space.

"Hey."
Olivia jumped the moment Amy's hand made contact with her shoulder, dropping her phone in shock.

"Hey, chilax, it's just me." Amy watched Olivia take deep breaths as she made herself comfortable in the pool bench right beside Olivia's , narrowing her gaze to her the moment she noticed her foul mood.

"Lost in your thoughts again?"

Olivia took another deep breath.
"It's not that." She quickly said. "I was just thinking about a few things that's all." She shook her head so Amy didn't have to push forward.

"Is this about Rafael?" Amy leaned closer. "You're worried about him aren't you?"

Olivia let out a quick smile.

"But he's fine now. You heard what he said, he was just attacked by random thieves. People get jumped in Nigeria all the time, especially rich people."

"That's not just what I'm worried about Amy." Olivia slowly rose her head to meet Amy's. "I mean, I worried about what happened to him but there's something else that has me more worried."

Amy frowned.

"Why? What is it? Did he say something to you?"

"I wish he did." Olivia swallowed hard. " Something doesn't feel right Amy."

"With Rafael?"

"Yes with Rafael." She rose her head to meet Amy's . "I feel like something really happened. Like there's more to what he's telling me, telling us."

"H-how do you know this-"

"Yesterday he was crying in the shower Amy." Olivia was once again talking over Amy just so Amy could listen to her. "He sat under the shower and he was crying like a baby. I had never seen him that way before and then when I tried to calm him, he kept saying he was sorry and wanted my forgiveness."

"Your forgiveness? Why?"

Olivia exhaled. She was getting really frustrated.

"That's the point, I don't know. I couldn't understand why Rafael would see the need to apologize to me. I can't understand why he would be the way he was in the first place. It's just confusing and the worst thing is he wouldn't even talk to me about it, I mean, I don't mind it. I can wait for him to want to talk but then again, it's like he's trying to avoid me. He won't look at me and when I try to hold him, he just -" Olivia paused. She was beginning to talk too much now. "I don't know if there's something I said or did." She slowly turned to Amy.

"Amy what if he's beginning to get tired of me? What if he actually got sick of the way I've been caught up in my thoughts? Maybe his father's words finally got to him. Maybe he got lost in the moment and-" she held her breath. "Maybe he got involved with someone else and now he feels really guilty about it."

"Oh Olivia," Amy said almost in a whisper, focusing her eyes on Olivia's worried face. "That's the most silly thing I've ever heard you say in a long while."

Olivia exhaled.

"You're right. It shouldn't be. It can't be." She convinced herself. "Rafael loves me. He'd never do anything to hurt me. He'd never hurt me like that."

"Was that why you wanted to wait till he was ready to talk? You don't want to hear him admit it?"

Olivia rose her gaze to Amy, biting hard on her lip.

"I'm just really confused and worried about him. About all of it."

"You shouldn't be thinking about all of those things. You shouldn't look for things that don't even exist. Rafael would never do anything like that to you, you should know that by now. You should trust him."

"Of course I trust him."

"Then this should not worry you. He just needs some time. Maybe he's going through something, something he's not ready to talk about yet but when he does, when he does, he'd talk to you about it. You're always the first person he runs to. Don't force it. Don't make up assumptions either. Just - you know, be there for him. He'd come around."

Olivia rolled his eyes.

"Talking about coming around. I think your idea of making that broadcast on the papers was a good one." Olivia let out a tiny smile.  "Ann reached out to me."

Amy frowned. She honestly couldn't remember who that was. She looked so confused.

"Who?"

"Ann, the lady from the parking lot. You know, the one with the brain problem."

"The kangaroo lady?"

Olivia nodded, her face brightening up suddenly.

"She sent me a text earlier. She wants to meet up with me tomorrow morning. At the parking lot."

"Really?"

Olivia nodded.

"Olivia that's amazing. You can finally get to hear what it is she has to say. You could finally get the answers you've been looking for. If she's really who you think she is, I mean, are you sure you should even go there alone? Who knows, this might be a trap too."

Olivia shook her head.

"She wants me to come alone Amy. I think it'd be better if I went alone. She might get scared and run off if she sees me with someone. She's that kind of a person. She looked really scared the day I saw her. Besides, it's going to be at my office. At the parking lot. There are cameras and security everywhere. Nothing could possibly happen to me."

Amy exhaled. She really wanted to believe Olivia's words. She really did. She nodded quickly and then sighed.

"Okay then. You should go. You should find out the truth. You should find out what happened to your parents."
